Tomb Raider - Rise of the Raider PC

Guys who bought it of windows store.
Is there an app which you can use to monitor your fps?(fraps,msi afterburner doesn't work),or maybe you need to enable something in the options (game,windows) to make it work?ta

Exactly this. If more people continue to do this then we're not going to get the same quality games much longer.
 
Alright got the knife, lord knows why you get it so late and that there's no knife to be found on anyone or anywhere in the game leading up to that point... Yet she is able to cut open dead animal carcasses?!

Anyway, I'm in the main tomb bit know where you bust open the gates but have to take care of the mini army that keeps coming in and killing me. What a ballache! Playing on Hard too.

Just how I like it.

I've already asked this as i paid £9.15 through the microsoft store and cant see how i can see the frames , i even plugged in my G19s and it wont show on the keyboard either . with 2 x 980ti and 5960x @4ghz im assuming im getting around 45fps or more on 7860x1440p on high settings with depth of field off and hair effects on . to make it buttery smooth i run at 5760x1440p on triple gsync monitors .

I've already posted this but to reiterate...
If you are using SSAA and have low frames. In game Switch to SMAA, apply then switch back to SSAA. It's a bug.
 
I'm enjoying this. I think it's cut the worst parts of the original reboot to a minimum and refined the core gameplay.

The story is rather 'meh' in all honesty and feels a bit similar to Uncharted 2 (Cintamani Stone). I also don't find Lara that likeable as a character. The gameplay is great though so I won't be too harsh on the story/character aspects as Naughty Dog are brilliant on that front so a bit harsh to compare.

Hopefully later installments will see an improvement as we move away from the origin story arc.

Solid 8/10 for me.
 
Its a funny one for me, I have never particularly liked or enjoyed the Tomb Raider series, any of them from the very first one in 1996 up until the more modern ones. I just never clicked with any of them.

That is..right until I played the Tomb Raider 2013 reboot. That one hooked me and I played it solidly from start to finish and this new one, Rise, has done the same thing.

I know many are saying the reboots arent good but for me at least, its changed a series from games that I dont want to play into games that I do want to play. As it stands at the moment (and obviously its only been 1 month) I can see Rise being one of my favourite games of 2016.
