Tomb Raider - Rise of the Raider PC

Managed to pick this up for £6!!! Although not as a Steam game :/

My current GPU is a 290x will be running at 1080p, Any recommendations to particular settings I should dial back to increase those frames?

(Not had chance to fiddle around yet, waiting on the d/load)

Could be worse mate, I have 450 games on my Steam I haven't played yet and I still buy them lol. 860 so far, I really need to stop.

Good heavens. I thought I was bad! Making a concerted effort this year to work through the list. I struggle to play more than one game at a time due to getting confused with controls or what have you. I like to immerse in a game and when it's done, I'm done.

Got this running on my HTPC after fixing the resolution issue, I can running it with everything max out on 1080p with my single 290, i5 4690k running at stock and 8gb ram. I get between 51 and 60 FPS when out in the snow level. So you be fine.

Just completed it with 77% completion and will be going back through to get all the secrets etc. Loved it :)

Partially the reason I'm going to hold out for a sale on this one.

I'm sure its very good but I am spending a bit much on games at the moment, so if there is limited replay value and it can be completed quite quickly.. the smart money if to wait for a sale!

Thought as much, im always looking for secret spots and easter eggs so i wanna swim to the bottom of all the pools and check for hidden places to climb.

I'm working through my steam sale games and at the moment playing Tomb Raider 2013 - great game so far. How does ROTTR differ? Is it more of the same? Less QTEs or more open world? I got TR2013 for £2.24 in the sale, worth every penny, lol.

It's pretty much more of the same. There aren't many QTEs, mostly just when you don't grab a ledge properly.
