Tomb Raider - Rise of the Raider PC

Just had a quick play of this, I think the graphics and animation are the best I have ever seen. Truly stunning.

I am having a few glitches though, I am running 970 sli, and I am having some issues with smoke and waterfalls flickering in cutscenes.

I think some other people were getting issues with SLI but found a fix if you read back a little mate.

Just hit the 60% mark. So far loving it apart from some of the little quirky items.

Map not loading instantly at times.
Clipping issues when jumping.
Item pick up distance appears to be a little wonky at times.

As a side note:
If anyone has done the optional objective of the jumping from towers into the water when you're at the natives town, what button is it you have to press! Nothing appears to work. :(

I watched a stream ages ago, on the xbox one it was push up on one of the sticks of the controller.

Semi answered within spolier tags.

My cutscene has just went all dodgy lara with near bald head haha then cutscene ends and gameplay all dodgy when i hit start the menu doesnt come up so ive had to alt f4 it hope it saved and hope it was just a glitch

Just went to my 1st camp site to craft arrows and i lost control wouldn't let me move left or right, all these little glitches are a pain in the backside thats twice ive had to restart it now

What a beautiful piece of work this game is!

Looking through the thread it's been said before, but I'm finding impossible to tell between cut scenes and the actual game play. It's just so smooth, certainly the smoothest I've ever seen or played. Other games I've played before it's very, very obvious between the two.

Not sure on other peoples configurations, but mine aren't changed from default and I'm happily getting 60 FPS with the occasional drop down to 48 FPS, when I remember to look :)

My defaults were on High, unlike others who seemed to find them on Very High. Haven't tried Very High and unlikely I will, don't see a need to.

If like others I find a considerable drop in FPS at the Soviet Base I'll have a look and tweak of the setup.

With the cutscenes i see the difference in that they look worse than gameplay imo! Pre rendered i think, at a lesser resolution maybe? One at the end of an early section was a bit ropey!

Thought triple screen was only for racing and flight sims really, no point in triple screens for fps or rpg games is there ?

Not at all, you can see much more of your surroundings, like bad guys flanking you etc. Is also much more immersive. I don't do it for online things though as it's usually too much of an FPS hit.

Just completed it with 77% completion and will be going back through to get all the secrets etc. Loved it :)

How long have you been playing it for?

I'm just taking my time, and I'm sure I've missed plenty, don't want it end.

Currently still in the Siberian Wilderness 57% complete.
