Textures to High makes all the stuttering go away ;)

You need 12GB GPU for Very High textures & it looks almost identical so pointless option (but makes the game stutter due to constant pagefile access as it swaps ram constantly).

Yep. Silky smooth now that I have it on High and see literally no difference.

Anyone else experienced a loss of sound upon exiting this followed by a crash upon re-loading a save game? The only thing I've changed recently is running MSI AB overlay to test fps, cpu & gpu useage etc?

Completed this a couple of nights ago, and just got round to sweeping up the last few items for 100%.

Although there were few surprises in how this plays, the combination of stunning visuals, decent core gameplay and top notch presentation made this an excellent game IMO.

When you read the article, it doesn't sound as impressive as the headline suggests :p Given how popular fallout 4 was/is, I can't say it is too surprising that PC sold more copies in the first month than the xbox one tbh. If the game was released at the same time for all platforms on Jan 28th, the results would have been very different.

Isn't it supposedly uncrackable so no dodgey copies floating around? Finally!!

Apparently they have cracked the denuvo DRM and just aren't releasing anything because they want to see if PC game sales increase since developers always give of about PC piracy ruining sales.

Even if not cracked, it is only a matter of time until they work something out imo.

does denuvo have any impact on performance ?

There have been reports for some previous games where it has caused performance issues and some even claiming damage done to their SSD's (due to the way it works) but I haven't really seen anything to back up these claims...

We have just released the fourth PC patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider, build 1.0.629.3. This patch focuses primarily on adding stereoscopic 3D rendering. We know it was a favorite feature for many of our players on the previous Tomb Raider and based on your feedback we are bringing this to you now in Lara’s latest adventure.

This patch will be applied by Steam automatically when you next start the game. If your game does not update, please restart the Steam client. If you are using the game on the Window Store, the update will be available in a few days, and will automatically download as it becomes available. We will update this thread when the Windows Store version is live.

Stereoscopic 3D rendering support added.
Supports explicit side-by-side rendering for 3D TVs.
Supports NVIDIA 3DVision or AMD HD3D (On Steam version).
Supports Windows DXGI 1.2 Stereo 3D (On Windows Store version).
Addressed some problems when the display DPI was not set to 100%, including not being able to select all resolutions.
Added some logic to retroactively grant achievements in cases where Steam failed to grant them shortly after release.
A variety of other smaller optimizations, bug-fixes, and tweaks.

While we expect this patch to be an improvement for everyone, if you do have trouble with this patch and prefer to stay on the old version we made a Beta available on Steam, Build 623.2, which can be used to switch back to the previous version.

We will keep monitoring for feedback and will release further patches as it seems required. We always welcome your feedback!
