Tomorrow - A level result thread

I did a BTEC and got my results a few months ago, i got DDM so i'm off to Plymouth :cool:

My girlfriend got her A Level results today;

Chemistry: A
Biology: A
Maths: A

She's going to Oxford :D

enjoy durham, it's a really small town but a good night out provided you have good mates with you:)

As for everyone else, well done, god I remember me results day, that was a few years ago now, about to go into my 3rd and final year

as for you, your the only other OCUK'er at Leeds Met as far as I can see, and you will be in my department ( the IT one) Leeds is a great city, I won't share my opinion's of the Uni yet as you will still be excited by the fact you got in:) Which halls will you be staying in?

Sigh. Just phoned uni, they're still considering my application.

I got a DDE, which is 160 UCAS points. I need 200 to get into the course I want to do. Doubt they'll accept me. :(

I'm jealous of all you smart people. ¬_¬
 
Got AA and double distinction for my BTEC. W00t :D I only needed CC and DM!

Ut oh, FrostedNipple is going to the same uni as me :s

Ive got 150 points and when I got accepted to Bangor last year and they wanted 280 points.


So they may accept you yet. :)

10 UCAS points short but it doesn't seem they're bothered :p
 
So ****ed off right now, these are my grades:
Physics-UUU
Biology-EEU
Chem-EUU
Maths C1 and M1-U

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS HAPPENS?!?!
I am a naturally clever person, mocks I didn't revise until the day before and got Ds and Cs in most, For these I revised 2 months before, got a physics tutor, studied my arse off. And it is a bit odd that everyone who I know and around me, even ppl who got A-B in mocks got nearly identical to me in chem and Bio:confused:

These exam boards are ****ing me off, gonna get a remark, maybe get the paper sent to my home, something is wrong here..

your doing as i wouldn't worry about it, just retake them.
 
When your 95% certain that you got a decent grade in physics and C1 and Bio, like a C, I find it kind of strange to end up with a **** grade like this??
Came out after the physics and maths exams pretty happy with myself, confident that I answered most questions correctly, and got a C, so surely getting a U is a bit farfetched?!?! maybe a D would be understandable, but a U?!?
Gonna get it remarked, if it comes back the same, will ask for a copy of the paper, could handwriting get my marks lowered, since mine is pretty bad...

EDIT:I want to do engineering, might have to reconsider now, don't know what to do in life now...
 
Congratulations to everyone who picked up their results today.

It makes me feel really old to realise that it was 10 years ago when I got my A-level results!

Don't worry about it.

Just work harder next year and don't leave things till the last minute.

When you are over confident, you do the worst (happened to me a few times :D).

Do you think they'll allow me to do Jan exams, since I really don't want to stay a 3rd year, wanna get out of 6th form asap.
I was not overconfident before the exams, just after I did them, found that I knew quite a lot about it...
