Tomorrow - A level result thread

Yes they will.

Heres a downer for you all;

Friend of mine got his results too (my school), 5 A's. 600 UCAS Points...and he is going to;

St Andrews Uni & Harvard, both having 2 years each... doing Philosophy of Science.
 
Woo, passed my driving test :D 3 faults.. but results, need to go in - not going to uni so not that bothered.

ICT im guessing a D, Physics.. well, C in AS hopefully and urgh I dunno for A2.. was very hard :(

Argh. Geeks, the lot of you :p

I got 300 Ucas points, I cannot physically imagine being smart enough to get 600, but then again I didn't try as hard as I should have and am insecure about my grades. :(
 
I got 260.. but that was my fault, I didn't try, could've done a lot better. Good enough for all my uni's though!

Although, in one of my classes.. did seem to be a tad weird, all got D-E's, but i ended up with C's.... so we all messed up somewhere!

What subjects were those grades in?

For those interested:

AS Last year:
Maths - A
Further Maths - A
Chemistry - A
Physics - A

A levels this year:
Maths - A
Further Maths - B
Physics - A

Bit annoyed about further maths as was so close, but my school had a lot to do with me missing out on a grade. TBH I should have done a lot more work but I knew I'd make my ABB offer fairly easily so I'm just happy I got in :-)

Hope everyone else is pleased.
 
BTEC National Diploma in Media. Got DDM.

Much much better than i thought i would get. From the points i counted before i left, i worked out i would get at least Merit Pass Pass, but i am very pleased now :D
 
Got my AS results, not that happy :(

Managed to get a very nice A in economics.
Yet I missed out on a B in history by 12 marks.
Failed a physics module (AQA unit 2), which dragged that down also to a C.
Ended up with a D in English Language too.

Tbh though, it is my fault. I'll admit that I only put enough effort into economics, and it shows. Of course now I've got the regrets of what I may have had if I had worked hard enough this year :(
 
Just been offered a place at Kent (Canterbury) to do Forensic Science with a foundation year.

Probably could have done better but im not going to uni so doesnt really matter :)
