Too many credit cards? aka "The Credit Card thread"

The person in the US who has 50 plus credit cards. The amount of time you're spending on managing that, it has to eat into your work/life. Everything has a cost.

You do know he doesn't spend on ALL his cards? He signs up on one, put his monthly spend on it, get the bonus, he moves on to the next one.

Probably wasted on you given your inability to grasp such basic concepts but it's worth a shot.

In 5 years time, I will be mortgage free and student loan free. I will never have any debt again.
You don't need to have debt using a CC either, you simply set the DD to clear it each month. Remember it is buying through credit for the rewards, its not buying with credit.

I can understand someone not having a credit card as they can't trust themselves but if you know you will be disciplined with a credit card then it's a better way of paying for things.
