The front page of the motorsport forum has threads 5 days old on it despite all of the F1 car launches/testing that has been going on over the past week. Rally or Bike threads will not get lost in the noise here unless either sport are extremely unpopular and no one replies to the threads for weeks. A non F1 motorsport forum just really isn't called for here (and I say this as a huge motorsport fan).

Once the F1 season starts it won't be too bad imo it'll end up being one thread per race i'd of thought and maybe the odd occasional extra if something controversial happens. It's just seems worse than it will be due to car launches.
