I don't think Liverpool have improved as much as they need. But they have improved and their performance in the second half of last season was good enough to get a top four finish. If arsenal don't spend soon they'll lose out, they were lucky not too last term. They'll will be nothing between man u, man city, Chelsea and Liverpool will get fourth.

oooh snap, but im not so sure about 4th, Liverpool have greatly improved, all depends on the nasri and fabregas situation as well as who will be the new LB at arsenal. player for player i think Liverpool have the better team, but there is not much in it.

How anyone can put City at the top when the player that carried them over much of last season and wants to leave and is linked with moves is beyond me.
The team hasnt improved since then?
Also the player that wants to leave has not and will play in every game he does to the best of his ability as he always has.

The team hasnt improved at all, its just added the standard "How much are they offering????!!!!" player or two.
The point is no one knows if Tevez will still be there next season and even if he is where his mind will be.

they have the strongest squad, it's frightening the options they have. also if Tevez does leave they have Aguero now.
Aguero, Tevez, Adebayor, Dzeko and Balotelli
Silva, Y Toure, Johnson, De Jong, Milner, Barry, SWP and Weiss
solid back line and keeper too. this year may be there year, they finished 3rd last year and have brought in Aguero, i think with another Argentinian there Tevez will stay and form a good friendship with Aguero. Nobody can afford Tevez or his wages.
Well Clichy is better than Bridge and provides good competition for Kolarov so theres an improvement. Aguero is better than Adebayor/Jo/RSC/Bellamy so theres an improvement.
Well its likely tbh and his mind will be focused as it always has been, look at him after his transfer request was rejected.
also Dzeko, Balotelli, Silva, Toure have now all had a proper pre season with the rest of the squad and that has been visible in pre season.

Who do you play out of the 5 strikers you mention?
A combined value of about £130m and City play one up front.
SWP is for sale, so is Weiss. Johnson is a reserve. Milner and Barry? Not popular with Roberto.
Its not about having the best or most expensive players. Imagine being Dzeko and being a £30m signing a few months ago and already you will be lucky to make the bench. Looking at what happened to Bellamy and RSC will hardly fill you with confidence.........
Adebayor is never going to play and if Tevez does leave then we have 3 strikers.
Johnson a reserve?
Barry not popular with Mancini?....why did he play nearly every single game.
Dzeko, lucky to make the bench? Who else is going to go on the bench ahead of him?
Yeh RSC and Bellamy have the same quality and attitude that Dzeko has.

Oh Dzeko and Balotelli have had pre-seasons behind them? At a combined value of £50m+? That will come in handy for them when the Tevez/SA partnership takes off eh? They will be happy sitting on the bench waiting to see which one has a hissy fit first so they get a game.
Obviously Adebayor, RSC, and Bellamy might as well kill themselves.....
What you fail to recognise though Biz what's to say that Aguero wont take the same length of time to settle at City that Dzeko & Balotelli have? You really need to stop jumping on the defensive any time anyone says anything about City.
Oh and for what's it worth of your pre-season (where in your opinion Dzeko and Balotelli have shown a marked improvement) that I've seen City have either been utter garbage or played players that will not be in your starting XI next season. But I'm sure you've seen all of your pre-season games as oppose to the few I've seen.

Jumping on the defensive?....like no one else on here does that.
Dzeko has looked quicker, sharper. Balotelli has also when he has been playing. They have also linked up with the rest of the team a lot better.
