Nah, the best shot was the low level super-slomo of the Jag wheel spinning on the gravel... fantastic!

Yeah that was AWESOME. But i also liked the 'then came the Germans' bit too. All in all, another awesome episode :)

Have to say the filming and editing on this show is absolutly fantastic, I think the editing is very similar to my style of editing so I like it a lot, they also always seem to use music that I'd normally use in a video. The slo-mo Jag wheel was quality :D

I agree, excellent shots again.

ROFL at the meeting they had before the radio show with the radio peeps being nervous about what Clarkson was going to say and May not understanding any of it :D

I was a bit surprised to hear the 4x4 had a TVR V8 as an engine, is that really an engine you want when driving offroad

It's a competition offroader... ;) Icelanders don't just drive around in those things as everyday cars :p

Pretty impressive how Hamster crashed it at a fair whack of speed and it sustained precisely zero damage

I know it is a competition car but I thought with offroad it was Torque > BHP but I guess a V8 will have plenty of torque so forget what I said :o

I think there was some damage visible on the left front bumper but not a whole lot.

Terrible episode. The radio bit should have been dropped - it wasn't funny, there was no feedback and it was pointless. I didn't enjoy the Corvette bit, it looked lame.

Just not very good. I think TG will burn itself out by playing the 'comedy' card too much this series.

Even in last episode there was some dubious editing and a bit too much 'fake' (it may not have been, I'm thinking of the car wash scene) or over the top comedy/staging.

Didn't enjoy the Icelandic race either. Wasn't even intesesting in the slightest :(

<grumpy mode off>

Got to admit I thought Sundays episode was quite poor too in comparison to the previous week.

The radio bit was funny at times, but cringeworthy for most of it.

I agree with the above poster, I really hope they dont take the comedy element too far, after all, it is a motoring show at the end of the day.

I'm sure it will be back on form next week though :)

Obviously the carwash bit was faked, but if you watch it without that in your mind it is quite funny.

I did like the radio bit, not quite the actual radio stuff but the meeting before was hilarious and the banter about the 'Saab'

I agree about the kayak stuff though :)

Radio bit was great, 'do you think the bonger...', and that woman who phoned up to have a rant, and he was sitting there with the bin over his head. :D

I thought the radio bit was quite funny but the episode wasn't as good as last week's.

Does anyone know the music played during the Jaguar review and the canoe race? They seem familliar but I can't quite remember.

to top gears high standards it wasnt a good episode.

but its like picking a slightly amazing episode out of a bunch of legendary amazing episodes.

they can rally a trolley around for an hour and it still will be one of the best things, if not the best thing to actually sit at a tv for
