Top Gear Is Back!!

LMAO at the radio show...

I thought the BMW convertible was an improvemnt on the coupe, and that jag exhaust sound was not the best I have heard...

It definately wasnt as good as last weeks :(

But the radio bit had me laughing :D


They need to put more stunty stuff on the show, like caravan trashing :p
 
I thought it was a good laugh, it's become more than just car reviews now. It's a show for the whole family, even dogs!

I loved the look of the jag in both coupe and convertible varients, but it didn't sound right to me. It was nice on startup, but when he was pushing it with the fly by camera it sounded kinda clattery.

I can't afford one anyway, so I'll keep dreaming for the aston. :D
 
The thing I like about Top Gear is the bloke element to it. 3 blokes who like cars, messing about in and around cars. You can tell they have a right laugh making all the features, and that in turn makes good viewing.

Any news on if the radio show is available to "listen again" to on the BBC website or something?
 
Was the Tomcat (4x4) a bowler as it was almost identical to the wildcat on previous episodes? It has the same engine and bodywork. That part was probably the best part of the episode :D I wish they do a bit more talking beween the features about the previous one though. :(
 
Just to remind you all, It's on again tonight at 8pm. I've been waiting for this all day, It's such a horrible day. :(
 
LOL best part of the show so far.....Jeremy Clarkson ripping it out of that guy who thought that pink Nissan Micra was cool. lmao "HAVE YOU SEEN YOUR EARS?!"

I am amazed that a stock Ford Mustang GT was even able to keep pace with that little Lotus. I really thought the Mustang would have been a good 10s slower round that track but it was only like 1-2s. Should have borrowed the stig my Saleen. :D ;)
With the extra horsepower, crisper throttle response and much improved handling the Stig could have took him. :D ;)

You have to factor in that Jeremy Clarkson is a fat bloke, against the Stig

Pretty gutting to know they were very local to OcUK and not far from where I live, damn would have been great to go down to Rudyard Lake to watch them if I've had known they was gonna be filming there. :(
 
Am I the only one feeling we're not exactly getting 'value for money' with this series so far? Ok, we've had one performance car per show but to me, it just feels like they're mucking about for the most part. Nothing really grand so far (like the trip to the bridge in France last season), just silly stuff.
 
Yea, that episode was crap.
If they are doing this 'lets build some kind of contraption' thing every episode then im dissapointed. ring back the 3 car shootouts.
