Is Richard May due to return in the next series, I dug out an ancient Top gear mag the other day and realised where he had come from..

Which one, James May or Richard Hammond?

Where did he come from too? :p

Dam, maybe they'll amalgamate the two in some horrible experimental 'The Fly' kind of way :o

I meant James May, Richard Hammond was a radio dj before hand I think

I would think that May will be back with the other two.

I bought his book the other day - "May On Motors", sits nicely on the shelf next to "Clarkson On Cars".....not sure what Hammond would title his as.....

James May was a motoring journalist - worked on Autocar in the 90s and moved over to TV as part of the original team on Channel 4's Driven with Jason Barlow and Mike the cockney bloke in the mid 90s.

Hammond was a local radio DJ and started doing TV when Men & Motors first launched. He had long hippy hair and was trying to (badly) impersonate Clarkson. It was painful to watch.

Good man. Hammond was re-introduced like a pimp......see all the ladies in their feather constume! One smiley -
