When the Veyron was in production, didnt VW ban Bugatti from using thier private track or was that Koenigsegg?

Ive seen the track before on other programs, its bloody huge.

Im sure that someone out there, after been pestered by BBC would lend them thier Veyron. It was the same with the Enzo was'nt it till some ex rocker (forgot who it was now) lent them his car?

Wernt VW majorly involved with the production of the Veyron? And yes, VW are very protective of their track and wont let anyone else who "could" steal the top speed record use it..

Back on topic the Veyron is a truly awesome car - but even if you won the jackpot lotto could you justify spending 800K on ONE car?

If I ever win the lottery or millions on somethings, I would buy a veyron and a koenigsegg ccx. Veyron for everyday casual jaunts in confort and speed down the autobahn as I will have bought a house next to it

and then the koenigsegg ccx for the weekend bash up mountain roads and track days. sorted.

Is it just me or have BBC2 stopped putting the episodes online to watch?

I missed it tonight and can't find it anywhere, nor can I find last weeks either, they used to have every new episode on there to watch.

May be slower in a straight line but I better its quicker round the track, weighs half as much

I'd love to see them put a TVR speed 12 round the track too, how does 900bhp/ton sound (in comparison to 490 for the veyron and 550 for the Mclaren)

We all know that an F1 car can accelerate and corner much quicker than a Veyron can
The Bar F1 team achieved a measured mile speed of 400kph last year

For sure the Veyron is a superbly impressive road car but just quit with the F1 comparisons !!

They're talking about a Mclaren f1 road car, not an F1 car.
