Top Gear Is Back!!

very good, wasted a bit of time with that hugh grant clip but enjoyed it nonetheless =]

You wouldn't get people like Hugh Grant on Top Gear unless they were being forced into it by the movie companies needing to plug their latest film.

Cant believe how bad the Alfa was on the track. Looks like they spent more time designing it rather than the mechanics of it!

I think I'd still buy a Koenigsegg and pocket 500k :/

Clearly the Veyron is a car which will be bought by people to whom 500k is pocket change. There's also the distinct possibility that it may appreciate in time.

I have to say I'm impressed that it hit the quoted top speed, seemingly without too much effort although you don't know if the guys from Bugatti were there behind the scenes tweaking the map or anything.

Yeh but to be honest it would still be great for normal road driving

Hated the Alfa. Looks "old" and nothing that would grab your attention and no one would think you'd paid, 23 grand (?) for it. The RX8 looks great in real life, but don't really think it stands out very well in photos. The Audi, for me, is my favourite, but its very expensive.

Not that it matters as i don't have 22-25 grand to spend. For a long, long, long time.

Yep, the Brera is a bit bloated. Looks the bomb though, although not in silver like the one they had on the track.

I agree. It looked the best but in black or red and it would have wiped the floor with the others. The RX8 is looking a little dated now. The TT has enough subtle changes to make it look different from the old TT but still looks enough like it for you to tell it is a TT.... if you get what I mean. Like the new Focus in terms of progressive styling. Not a complete revamp like the new Astra.

Fat chance after what the stig did to the ccr.

Its impressive with specs, the amount of fuel it uses, tires last around an hour at top speed, cost, etc.

But on any other front its just an epenis car, i bet i can count the places in the world on my hands where you can drive that fast :p
