Top Gear returns on Sunday 27th June at 8pm

Actually, another annoying aspect of the show is that they don't seem to have a 'Star in a reasonably priced car' who isn't there to plug something! Why can't they just turn up and drive for the fun of it instead of blabbering on about their latest book/film/album etc? :(

or why not just in this segment ?

I have no interest in someone I have usually not heard of driving a crap car round a rubbish track

on that subject is it just me that thinks they need a better track ? just seems very amateur

I love top gear but this weeks episode was rubbish apart from the bits when they were in the old cars but I had to laugh when they saw the state of the cars underneath that they'd just done 140/150+mph in.

Why go to Colditz castle but not show any antics inside the place. Also they spoke of an economy drive to poland that they "didn't have time to show" unyet they spent the last 10 minutes waffling on about points and who won.

Last weeks episode was better, the stuff with the new reasonably car was funny and the reliant had me in stitches but the star in the reasonably priced car this week was just boring and such a waste of time.

Great episode, how the two Cossies & M3 summed up the risks of buying one though - all, lets face it, were sheds.

Agreed, especially the M3! I wasn't that surprised at that. Oh, and the interior was awful.

I enjoyed this episode, a lot less larking about and an interesting feature with the track day cars.

Surely it was that German chick they usually have - Sabrine?

That's what I instantly thought when they showed the hair. Her name is Sabine Schmitz, though. She's been in Top Gear a few times already doing the transit Nurburg lap and the Eng v German one.

No hotlinking!

Her hair is the same colour and height too.

That's with all interview shows though. Friday Night With Jonathon Ross, Graham Norton Show, Alan Carr - Chatty man etc etc people just don't go on shows unless they have something.

I've thought for a while it would freshen it up allot if they just went the other way round the same track, instead of or in addition too using a newer car.

I thought this was miles better than the first ep which I found boring apart from the reliant scenes.

Agree also with the comments about Hammond. His slapstick is just getting irritating. Just annoyed me when they did his track day and he was screaming about "the thing".

Since Hammond has his accident and now looks like a drowned rat, I can't help but feel that something went wrong upstairs. He now dresses odd, has James May hair and seems to behave more erratically somehow. I think a screw or two was loosened, unsurprisingly if that is the case.

However, annoying he is not. I can't even imagine getting annoyed by a TV show, let alone Top Gear. Some of you must have very short tempers if R Hammond annoys you. I meet people far more annoying that him every day.

Do people honestly believe the vehicles used in Top Gear are not thoroughly checked out for safety before any Celeb type gets anywhere near them? It's the BBC! They probably spend more on Health & Safety than they do on the actual features :D

lol definitely. None of the celebs were allowed to eat any of the food that was being cooked on the BBQ in the first episode as the BBC wouldn't allow it. Clarkson got a call during the filming telling him due to health and safety they weren't allowed!

Is it guilty pleasure territory that I properly fancy her?

Maybe annoyed wasn't the right word but it seems like he tries too hard and it just doesn't make me laugh as much anymore.

Can you honestly say no one on tv annoys you? Not Barry Scott, not David Dickinson, Jeremy Kyle?
