Top Gear returns on Sunday 27th June at 8pm

Not necessarily, could just be because its on the track timing screen.

Bottom section of that screen seems like its for a fixed set of information, its the stuff above that changes depending on your screen selection.

Must admit i really dislike the clocks, would prefer an analogue speedo aswell.

Having used one for a while I actually prefer the digital speedo nowadays.

Then again I grew up messing about on computers from a very early age. Whenever I look at an analogue clock (as in time) I have to convert it to digital in my head before knowing the time.

seems the stig wants to reveal himself. Anyone know any race drivers planning immediate biography release.

The BBC is fighting to keep Top Gear's mystery driver The Stig from revealing his identity.

The corporation has launched a legal bid to stop the faceless show favourite - who speeds around a race track with a blackened visor - writing his autobiography.

BBC lawyers claim he is subject to a confidentiality agreement and unmasking himself would spoil viewers' enjoyment of the BBC Two programme, which is one of the channel's most popular

So he wants to blow off his Top Gear gig for a auto-bio which probably won't sell a lot anyway. It'll be about his time racing, and probably about his time at TG which can't be that interesting:

''I drove a car around track. In a suit and helmet. I wasn't allowed to speak''.

it might have a lot of celebrity gossip in it, he's met quite a few after all. Some people like that sort of thing.

Can see him releasing a book and then being replaced by a new stig.

Especially since his time was beat in the F1 drivers lap times so they could do with a 'better' one ;)
