Top Gear returns on Sunday 27th June at 8pm

Completely scripted and really obvious yet funny at the same time. I'll admit though it would have been better if they had approached the subject matter a bit more seriously.

How could it be legal to drive that ropey shed on public roads? I assume it must have met the basic legal requirements for roadworthiness - unless they exploit some loophole?

Whose, Clarkson's? Or Hammond's? May's was just an elaborate roofbox, as they said, so no big deal there. I swear, Clarkson's looked in danger of falling over into the other lane at times. I do wonder whether they really drove all the way to Cornwall like that.

Although, I don't know what the requirements are. Assuming the car has passed its MOT, is there much they can be done for?

Isn't it a police officer's discretion on whether to pull a vehicle over? There was that stupidly long lorry a few months back that the owners weren't sure was legal or not. So to find out the only way was to take it out and "report" themselves to the police who turned up and confiscated the lorry thus starting a legal process that would find out if the lorry was legal or not.

That had me laughing loads.

If James had made his roof-box bigger I think it would have been quite good and worked quite well.

I was expecting Clarkson's 'Grand Design' Citroen to fall over on to a Reliant Robin, the Scriptwriter missed a trick there for sure.

Little car reviews, but a very good ep overall, I was laughing half the time during the motorhome challenge. The Porsche vs r8 was great to see too. That made me want to be in his place so much, esp with that blonde beside me :p.

Yeah - so far I think this has been one of the more enjoyable episodes.

I'd have to say though that Hollywood actors leave me a bit cold - they just don't seem to have the ability to be properly self effacing. I think that English people have a better sense of humour and a better ability to laugh at themselves.

Yeah I noticed jeremy trying to give him a hug after putting up his time which he just ignored, must've felt a little bit awkward.

Good episode. Clarksns was actually quite good, I could probably spend a night in there in relative comfort. He just ruined it by not putting a bed in it!

You do realise 'he' probably had nothing to do with the design or construction anything.

I'm glad there are people like you guys in the world who are able to explain such things to us mere mortals.

Get over it. We all know it's faked, and if we don't know then we should. Saying things like "He just ruined it by not puting a bed in it" suggest that someone is a little bit too willing to believe what they're shown.
