Whats going on with TVR now?

Last I heard they had a load of chevy V8's to go into a Tuscan replacement (supposed to be announced at goodwood).

Apparently some old workers had also started working in a previously disused shed? No idea how much truth their is to that?

IIRC they still have some of the factory open to keep TVR's on the road and allegedly are adding the odd one too?​

That's all alleged though.
 
There was never anything official about a goodwood showing, but that's apparently the story, who knows if it's true. Nikolai has shipped all the moulds for cars he gives a toss about to Germany I think, where he has supposedly agreed a deal with Gullwing to produce new cars. Big ol US V8s were said to be the plan, and it'd probably be a revival of the Tuscan R/Typhon shape at a guess, or theoretically it could the Typhoon or Tuscan GT

The barn was a place of operations or a while, all they did was repair power steering racks and supposedly design new cars, who knows if there is any truth to the later part though. They've vacated the area now, though.

The factory at Bristol Avenue is now home to lots of old TVR employees running their own businesses, often related to TVR. D&C trim and Surface and design are interior and exterior specialists from the TVR days which still operate from the factory. GTF race cars are/were based there building cars which have a more than minor resemblance to the Sagaris (link)
 
So according to Clarkson & Hammond, all Ferrari owners should go and smash up their cars and kill themselves? O dear Spie...!

they did make some awesome sounding cars, they were cars that you dreamed of owning

The Rover V8 cars would do about 30mpg on a run, the AJP8 and S6 about 20mg on a run. Considering the performance of the AJP8 in particular (remember THAT Clarkson drag race? :p) I wouldn't say that's awful.
 
I thought it was brilliant. Certainly a much better season than before.

The only episode that was totally **** was the motorhome one.
 
I hated it, far too much scripting going on. The whole series has been nothing but script after script after script. I hope it gets binned.
