Top Gear returns on Sunday 27th June at 8pm

Clarksons ability to shift his opinion on a car is impressive.

Yeah, I'm getting a bit fed up with that. He generally seems (with the odd exception) to rave about a new Ferrari while slagging off the previous model, which he raved about when it came out....and so on. I know most of the F430 mocking was due to May having one, but I still found it annoying.

And yes, I do own an F430, so maybe that's why it got on my nerves.

And, yes, it's a plastic model F430 which I had to build, glue and paint myself....still

thats always been clarksons style

he exaggerates to make a point to the "its an emmm free innit bruv" crowd who watch top gear. Its simplified down to cater for the lowest common denominator.

Its also done for entertainment purposes. Even his column in the times reads a bit like that as he says stuff to get a laugh. Of course he seriously doesnt think the F430 has become crap overnight.

It was immaculately scripted to perfection. Leave it alone, that is what Top Gear is. It's like complaining that a shopping trolley only has 4 wheels instead of 6.

Yes but, the editing was pants, did everyone see the same black coupe (merc?) slot in sideways to the oncoming traffic on two different days?

I guess this is my only gripe with "new" TopGear. I don't care that its scripted, over the top and that they don't to in depth reviews of fuel economy of the latest Kia. They must have loads of footage of the cars just being driven through a town etc yet they pop in the same thing twice? Was quite evident in the Polar Special too, either the same thing or mirroring the clip. Anyway, quite enjoyed the episode and the classic British sports car bit had just the right amount of silliness and serious parts. Oh well roll on November!

I noticed continuity like this on the camper van bit - I know the A303 very well and they kept showing footage of them being pretty much the other side of Yoevil yet saying 'Soon after we set off...' etc etc.

After watching again on iplayer......

I guess you can always see what speed your doing....

I noticed that too, so thought it was a bit of a silly comment. To be fair though it is a bit out of the way and smaller then perhaps it should be.

There is no episode 7. Sky boxes and similar just implement it as 7 unique episodes even though the content of the 7th episode is just a clip show.
