Are you serious? You either take all of TG with a pinch of salt or you don't. As you've pointed out time and again when people have said its scripted or they don't review cars properly - its an entertainment show. The only part of cars they review is the top speed and drifting ability.[TW]Fox;15652511 said:I am a bit confused. The Lexus was rubbish because its not 3 times better than a Ferrari 599.
But the Bugatti is car of the decade despite not being 7 times faster/better than a Ferrari 599?
Maybe just because the Veyron has the most technology incorporated into the car, and it's the fastest car of the decade (if I'm right).[TW]Fox;15652511 said:I am a bit confused. The Lexus was rubbish because its not 3 times better than a Ferrari 599.

It was a VXR, he was only referring to the Insignia for a reference. Was surprised May said nothing about the insignia's traffic sign reading feature

But the problem with May is that he's just boring. If someone wants to punish me, just get me an audio book read by James May
Yeah in terms of 'getting to the point'. That's one of the things that the other two guys don't really do.Arguably the best presenter of the three.

Hammond is bar far the worst, all he seems to do is try to copy Clarkson's style and be funny when he's not.
I kind of agree when it comes to the studio sections, but as far as car review pieces go Hammond is easily the best IMO. Last nights LFA film, the Gumpert Apollo piece, and the legendary 'I am a driving God!' Bowler Wildcat review spring to mind, to name but a few. Loved the VXR8 review of his too.

Yes, because of the technology it packs. If you want the absolute cutting edge, you pay.In your eyes, is the LFA worth 3 times the prices of the 599?
Why, despite extensively using carbon fibre and supposedly using such exotic materials, does the car weigh 1480kg? RWD, is it not? I don't get why it weighs so much.
