Always been a big top gear fan but that first episode was a bit of a let down. Just the same tired format as previous series.

I am sure future episodes will improve and the specials are always good.

In no rush to watch it again but looking forward to next weeks.

You know its going to be infantile which to most is the appeal of the show and if it's repetitive then you know its going to be poor so why waste an hour of your life?

I personally thought it was amusing and a good way to round off the weekend

I thought it was great. The bit in the den was a little slow but other than that good stuff.

I think of Top Gear in much the way I think of Status Quo - if you like it then you'll probably enjoy that the performance barely changes from year to year, if you don't then you're unlikely to find anything to change your mind.

I'm in the "entertaining enough to pass an hour" camp - I'd not be devastated to miss it (especially as it'll be on Dave before too long) but if I'm around then it's probably as good a show to watch as most others.

Perhaps you are outside of its target demographic? You make the same complaint every single series. Meanwhile, it's worldwide viewing numbers continue to increase.

I find Eastenders timesome and irriating, so I don't watch it, rather than post every week in an Eastenders thread about how tiresome and irritating it is.

It wasn't a bad episode but I thought the bit with the P45 got boring fast. I can't wait for the America road trip.

What I'm MORE looking forward to however is the new season of MCM starting on YouTube this week
