I would wait for the inevitable rework of the geomantic web mechanic because at the moment it just sucks.Thinking I'm gonna go Lizardmen on my next game though.
No they Stegadon't.The stegadons make up for it.
You can embed them within your army by moving them into the hex your general is within. They boost XP via their presence and will act and fight in battle as part of that army. You can disengage them from your army at any time too, to move them independently and complete specialist actions such as attacking a city's walls, attacking/blocking an enemy army etc.I may just need to restart the campaign tutorial but I have a hero 'Zorya', It's telling me that my hero hasn't moved so I moved her around the map and I have an option to attack an army and damage it.
Is this how heroes behave in game? I don't understand why I can see abilities she's got if I can't actually use her in battles

There are some players who auto-resolve all battles, preferring to only engage with the game on the overworld map at a strategic level. Choose a faction that fits your playstyle, and stick with them to get a feel for the game. If you're new to Warhammer, and Total War games in general, you probably don't want to be using a faction that requires a lot of micro-managing to start with eg. Skaven, Wood elves.Thank you. I have a feeling I may just never be good at this game, I am really bad at the battles but we shall see. I have no familiarity with Warhammer outside of 40K which doesn't help.
I wouldn't pay full price, but at £20-25 you should get your money's worth. Is this worth picking up? I've never been able to finish a campaign with the second game
Whut?I've read it fleeces you for micro transactions and "optional DLC". Is that true? Do you get a complete full game and value for money?
Whut?
