Looking good but I would expect the brakes to be in a lot better condition than that considering purchase price. Massive lip on the discs and next to no meat on the pads.
Conversion without the awning is quoted at £11k - that leaves very little room for the van itself. Given he got to it immediately I imagine he knew.Looking good but I would expect the brakes to be in a lot better condition than that considering purchase price. Generally people will run things until they break... the pads came up on the MOT that I asked them to perform independantly... and they were going to replace... I said just don't bother as I'll be ripping all of them out anyway, it's literally a waste of their time/money and my time... as long as it passed MOT I didn't care. If they were brand new pads and discs, I'd have still replaced with mine as I always do on all my cars. Things like this don't bother me at all. Like the alloys, not bothered as I was replacing them with my own wheels straight away.Looking good but I would expect the brakes to be in a lot better condition than that considering purchase price. Well, in the middle of a test, however, I filled up yesterday on way back and did 210 miles and if was half a tank left... so, it's looking good mpg considering it's a V6 and converted!Suprisingly... I quite liek those haha
I normally go 18's due to rubber cost tho
Have you had a chance to have a fly about in it to check the MPG? What was the dash reading the long term as?
"embedded sim"? Not sure what you mean? As for the wheel, yeah I "THINK" they're refurbed, but the wood is ticker and more contoured, but the frame is pure original so I'm assuming they strip it all down and do their own, haven't a clue I'l be honest but it's spot on I know that but 100% they must take originals and re-do them, for £150 quid it's a really nice piece of kit though!yes wheel & HU look good - did you add an aeriel (testing needed ?) for an embedded sim or that was already present;
wheel looks new new, or is it rebuilt/covered (good trade out of some eastern eu countries for recovered BMW ones, when I needed a new clock spring way back)
Cheers man, yeah it's always the little things... I can't help myself, it was the same with the SRT8, things like the old crappy standard steering wheel, now mines all carbon and looks factory at the same time.. I love the individual things tbh... like putting my stamp on my vehicles, can't help myselfSteering wheel looks good, small things make all the difference. That Android HU looks pretty slick too, I like the UI.

I got ~450 miles out of my last tank. 70l tank...so around 29mpg. 90% motorway driving.Well, in the middle of a test, however, I filled up yesterday on way back and did 210 miles and if was half a tank left... so, it's looking good mpg considering it's a V6 and converted!
How did you do the cruise? Would love to add it!Sooooo... another new addition... steering wheel which is so much thicker, contoured, lovely dark grey wallnut and nice new leather... and a new android stereo... plus I manually retroi fitted cruise control for £15... get in...
Cruise is easy buddy as long as you have the facelift model... basically this is what you need:I got ~450 miles out of my last tank. 70l tank...so around 29mpg. 90% motorway driving.

Also, what's the wheel? Looks nice.
Cheers, mine's pre-facelift though, so no cruise for meCruise is easy buddy as long as you have the facelift model... basically this is what you need:

It's dead easy. As for the wheel, I got it from this dude:

Ahhh that's a shame, yeah it can cost £1k or something mental to retro fit it... shame thatCheers, mine's pre-facelift though, so no cruise for me
Very exciting this.. something so cool and quirky about these Japaness MPVs , I think that's what they're called?
I've been looking at the Nissan Elgrand, the 3.5 variant is the same engine as used in the 350z!
does the HU have 4g module (that uses an esim/sim-card) which also needs an aeriel, that was not present in the original vehicle config"embedded sim"? Not sure what you mean?

Ahhh right with ya no it doesn't, however, it auto connects to my wifi hotspot anyway so no need for it tbh. As soon as I get in the car, wifi and bluetooth auto connect, job done.does the HU have 4g module (that uses an esim/sim-card) which also needs an aeriel, that was not present in the original vehicle config
