Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

I kind of agree this is fomo territory.
me too I bought some of your silly Quantum stocks last night at 5am for some reason... kinda just to track them so I don't forget they exist before doing DD later

about £60 of each only though, I don't think I would hold them long term without doing DD which I really can't be bothered with right now, but since google just did a quantum chip of some sort, I guess the hype train is a possibility.

that's some nice fomo and an easy 36%

did anyone ever invest in Kraken Robotics based on my suggestion?
It's still been slowly climbing, probably in hold territory now, but I suspect it could hit 2$ before the end of the year.
kUXhfyS.png

I'm almost tempted to double down on it for a 3rd time since my entry is so low anyway.

Anyone have any low market cap stocks on their radar that are similar to kraken? profitable, achieving good growth etc 20-50 forward pe
There must be companies in similar positions that could be good to hold for a few years.
yes I'm aware stock screeners exist

I probably should pay more attention to the penny stock subs on reddit, I think mostly the tickers don't exist on t212 though :/

Yeah these quantum stocks are abut bananas.

Rigetti is up 50pc today at time of post.
Up 176 percent on that right now.

I bought kraken and Rocket labs. I didn't much like Archer

Flat on rocket (literally 0pc change right now)
But up on kraken 25pc

Yeah I saw that this morning.

Things are really moving in terms of news at least.

I will also need to read more into the news and decide if it's actual news that can genuinely make a difference or just when a company says anything the hype builds.

Are you guys making huge gains putting in real money or play money? Always sounds like everyone here can afford to retire.
I bought £554.00 worth of PLTR and made £1183.00 off them as of today.

I have never spent more than 1k on a stock, but only started trading this year. I have a maxed out ISA and other savings if I lost this money I'd still be able to eat.

My plan is to build my play money. I don't really want to put any more in, I want to try and build my existing pot.

Real money but not a whole lot in the account I use for single stocks.

I had about £4k in Palantir when it was 20 usd though so made a fair whack
Mine currently stands at

+ cash that rounds it up to 5k

anytime it goes +100 over 5k I took money out, which was very frequent during the last few months ;)

so basically a real money, play account with 5k limit that pays for a few hobbies :)
about to pay for a new hobby too :D either going to buy a dji mini 4 pro or a bambu labs 3d printer I think.

Ha not huge money. These stocks are too risky.
This is my quantum set.

This year has been very good for everyone in USA.

My UK shares are poor. And with the losses + gains in probably fairly flat. My main holding is old/slow aviva. But that's fine as it's still doing well.
But I have had some dire picks. And this was mainly due to fomo/trusting discussion boards etc.

At you can see these at not life changing amounts.

If any of these are the next nvidia. That's a different story. But obviously that's extremely unlikely

That plantir was such a good buy! Especially for 4k!

For balance. Heres one of those bad ones.

AIM miners. Ugh. So much corruption, false RNSs basically riddled with lies.
Learnt my lesson on AIM. It's a lottery

The UK isn't all bad. You have RR for example. (I didn't invest )
Here's a nice UK one I mentioned ages back.
I actually bought it for what was a 20 percent dividend. But it's also up 20pc.
Very random to find a dividend that high.

In my early days I thought dividend stuff was better. Again. Part of that is upbringing, share news articles, older people advising.

I avoided anything bad so far, but tend to hold long and be semi careful with what stocks I bought.

I avoided the mineral hype, the uranium hype, the EV hype apart from nio..... but I didn't lose much on it

Those Uranium stocks worry too much so I bailed on all of them but rigetti this morning and even that is basically just profits left in.

IDK what to buy with the cash I have right now, maybe intels at the bottom

The ceo got sacked, they got downgraded to BBB rating from BBB+ and the stock doesn't seem to care

I'm 216% up on my PLTR shares and thinking about casing out and using the money to buy AMD.
I've seen a few traders recommending AMD but I'm not convinced. It's net margin and earnings aren't the most robust. Net margin at 7-8% for $1.8bn vs NVDA which has net margin closer to 50% for earnings c$60bn suggests that any lowering of demand stlll leaves NVDA generating cash. AMD's FCF isn't that special and lower than I expect from a mature company. The suggestion is that they also have to invest more in R&D to remain competitive.
PE ratio is like 113x whereas NVDA is 53x ish. AMD expense base looks high. I'd like to think its a cool bet to counter NVDA but too many of the numbers look iffy to me at this stage. NVDA trading down at c$135 now and it seemed to hit resistance c$150 but I reckon it's got a way to run next year provided Trump doesn't crush it with a trade war.

AMD is already valued like it has intels market share I'd avoid it personally

They aren't competing in the high end graphics card market anymore either, they could have a flop of a cpu and it would absolutely hammer the stock price, where as they could have a dominant cpu for the next 2-3 years, and their stock price likely would barely move.

The growths priced in

I have no idea what to buy now.
Was tempted by close brothers for a recovery play on the car finance scandal. Need to check it out.

But for now I'm not buying anything and actually taking money out.

As has come up before things seem precarious right now. And fomo is very very high.

Uec (uranium) is my only uranium stock and it has done well. Rio tinto I bought and sold as its so cyclical it wasn't worth it.
Stayed out of helium one hype and all other UK miners since being bitten

Yeah I looked at AMD and didn't go for it
