Transformers ! :D

If your a Transformers fan it doesn't destroy your childhood but its not the movie i had hoped for. The main problem is that theres no character development of the transformers. The whole Megatron/Starscreem dynamic is non existant. The only communication they have is Megatron saying "Starscream you've failed me again". Another problem i found was apart from Megs and Starscream the Decepticons are really weak compared to the Autobots.

Overall its a good action movie and Shia Lebouf is excellent.

Oh forgot to mention that the movie seems to leave a few loose ends so wouldnt be surprised if theres a sequel in the offing. I just hope that if they do a sequel they make it half decent..too many movies with sequels that fell flat on its face.

I saw this last night too... WOW what a film, the visuals were some of the best i have ever seen in a movie.

I so wanted my car to turn into a robot afterwards (well it was 3 in the morning) :D

ive just come back from seeing it, if you don't sit in the film itching to throw a few mid air punch's and have your own robot, there is something wrong with you

best film ever!

Best ******* film this year by far - considering I see a film a week, Im in a good position to give it that accolade :p;)...

Im a massive Transformers fan (no doubt people around 30 are) so I might be biased, but I just couldnt find anything wrong (except as always the dumbed down geek talk :/), Megan Fox was extremely hot, the Transformers looked great, the final battle sequence wasnt an anticlimax and had the weight behind it to show how important it was...

******* fantastic - definitely shouldnt be missed and Ill be watching it again soon...

I will be going to see it next Sunday along with The Simpsons movie. My friend said it was very good but not as good as Die Hard 4.
Your friend is mistaken ;) - Transformers > *

I think it leaves it perfect for a sequel - why do we need to know about the whole back story in the first film? Its not like we found all that out in the first original series - one of the things many seem to forget about a lot of these movies...

People who know the back story will just totally understand Megatrons comment and what it alludes to, while new people to the franchise will just take it at face value...

Im glad its not a remake of the original film, just a twist in the storyline...

I understand where your coming from but even looking at it from a non Transformers perspective theres no real depth to the characters, transformers that is, especially the decepticons. At least with the autobots theres dialog and they seem like a unit/team.

If anyone didn't stay till the end of the credits...... * SPOILER*

Starscream is the only decepticon we know that is alive, at the end of the credits he flies out of earths atmosphere back to cybertron, hopefully to get some decent decepticons for the next movie.

*SPOILER*

Id bet money that Megatron will be back - just one of those things when a film just emphasises something a bit too much when they throw him into the ocean - wonder if he comes back as Galavatron?!?...
