Transformers ! :D

Just got back from it with Pulse.. And it was... How do you say.. AWESOME!!1 :D :D

Some of the action was just SO good. I felt a bit embarrassed at some points as I kept making manly "grrr" and "aarrggg" noises at the action.

*SPOILER* (sort of)

The part on the motorway was one of them, where Optimus slams the brakes on, then transforms and jumps onto the bad robot. :D

Ooohhhh, I'm getting shivers just thinking about it.

good film, not what its all cracked up to be though, cheesy storyline... basically just a more advanced power rangers film... :p

i was slightly dissapointed considering all the hype this film has had, die hard 4 was better imo...

When I was young I only caught a few episodes of transformers I liked the toys, so I can't really say I'm a fan.

Just back from the cinemas and wow is all I can say, AWESOME movie :D

The actions scenes, the cars and a few comedy moments. It briefly touched upon a fair amount of things which was pretty good to people who didn't know much about transformers. I think I'll be getting this on DVD when it comes out :)

If you haven't seen it, you must watch it

The cinemas were absolutely packed! Couldn't find any parking space at all for a long time :\

Anybodie going to see this remember its a movie based on a cartoon which was used to sell toys. Thinking that you wont care about the story line you will just care about how cool the movie looks, the action, the comedy ect.

Ive waited 17 years to see this and I was not dissapointed in the slightest.

Its an amazing movie. The CGI is just jaw dropping.
I cannot wait until this comes out on Hi-Def format

I thought it was entertaining but certainly not as good as most people are making it out to be. Such a shame Bay was chosen as the director as it could've been so much better :(

I watched this tonight and i thought it was excellent, the idea of owning this on high def to watch on my plasma almost makes me excited again, film was funny and the visual affects were immense.

...oh and Megan Fox.... DROOOOOL

Thought it was really great, few cheesy moments and didn't like the little mini-robots that sounded like they were from Star Wars but still great film, some unexpected comedy.

Anyone else disappointed that Prime didn't put the allspark in himself and happen to become uber? :D

Not sure how they would fit Megatron into the next films story as Starscream is leader now and we all know (well those who know the cartoons) the relationship they have. I think it will be Galvatron for the next film. Also next time i want to see better Decepticons like Soundwave, Shockwave, Constructicons, Combaticons and the rest of the Seekers.

Oh and did anyone find the film disorientating? I dont suffer from motion sickness or anything like that but during the battle in the city my eyes were sore and i felt dizzy/sick. I think its how close the camera is to the action and its movement....

Thought it was Hot Rod that did that not Optimus Prime or Ultra Magnus, though I dont think it was the All Spark in the classic series/film, just some artifact to help them in their darkest hour...

The Matrix ;) Hot Rod takes it when Optimus dies and turns into Rodimus to lead the autobots

*Edit*

He's actually Hot Rod first then gets the matrix to lead the autobots

Actually Optimus gives it to Ultra Magnus before he dies, who then becomes leader, who fails to open it whereas Rod doesnt when he steals it from Galvatron and becomes Rodimus Prime ;)...

Surprised I remember so much from it :p - really need to pick up the series and the remastered original movie at some time...

Between this and Thundercats Id be in heaven :D

On May 30, 2007, DreamWorks greenlit two sequels to Transformers. Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Peter Cullen are signed on to return. Producer Tom DeSanto has envisioned a storyline introducing the Dinobots, Constructicons, and Soundwave. Writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman may not return, as "the next Star Trek is taking up most of our time." Michael Bay has not signed on, "trying to keep some leverage for the negotiations," but already has ideas, including an aircraft carrier character. The producers expect that with a bigger budget and the special effects worked out, the Transformers will have a larger role.
