I define 'woman' as 'adult female person'. The same meaning the word has always had. If you want a word with a new meaning, make a new word. Corrupting the meaning of an existing word for political purposes to gain power is at best a deception. Which is why people are referring to Newspeak from 1984.

You neither understand how language works, nor Nineteen Eighty-Four. Like.. I can only do so much on a computing retailer's forum, y'know. At some point you gotta get out there and educate yourself.
 
It does come across as a bit cultish doesn't it?
It does all start at college and Uni doesn't it where all this gets pushed into their heads and grows from there.
It's worse in America where they try to get them young in some states even at nursery.

Again, another person who doesn't understand that language is descriptive, not prescriptive. Definitions change - the dictionary changes! At best a dictionary is a snapshot *of the past*.

No no, you don't understand that you can't just redefine a word to fit your agenda. New words evolve.

The point I was making was whether or not it was my place to define a woman. But to answer the question again, when I say 'woman' I'm talking about psychological and social identity.
 
well you mean a trans woman then don't you, a MTF will never in a million years truly know what it feel like to be a woman, with all the baggage that comes along with being a true woman.
