Besides, I think the bottom card would clash with the front panel connectors

That board is 2.0 for the 4x lane anyway (i think??) so would cause some problems for XDMA (again, i think?? )

3.0 would be fine though, Matt's about to have trifire using an 8x2.0, 4x3.0 will be the same.

Those EVGA ones can't really compare to the nvidia BB versions.

I got a card of Tonester0011 and once I plumb it in will be another member of the tri fire wet club.

Think my psu might not be enough tho its only 1100W

I have a evga x58 classified LE so have 4 x16 slots (not that it makes a difference)

Dont think my xeon @ 4.6 can feed them tho

Back on topic, the (pre)OP (Matilda) has gone trifire so (s)he can keep warm in the coming winter months.
