Thanks. I have to say TriFire has been a breeze. Plug and play. No issues at all so far. :)

I did it once, though in my case I couldn't get it to work properly. However, the simple truth was (PEPKAC). :o

I hadn't connected the third gpu to the psu correctly.

Glad it's working all good for you, Mr.Lt. :)

Nice one Matt. I thought the Benchmark threads were unusually busy this evening :)

Thanks Gents. TriFire gets two thumbs up from me. Even on my old Sandy setup getting good results, despite being a bit cpu bottlenecked in most things.

Top two gpu's are within 1c of each other temp wise. Noctua fans doing a sterling job. Bottom gpu is about 4-5c cooler. Max temp 85c on top gpu, fan speed on top gpu around 58%. Pretty happy with that so far.

Few scores so far running stock 290's @975/1250.

Firestrike 30,300 gpu score
Heaven 3611 (forgot to turn off HT will try again)
firestrike EXT 13,700 gpu score
sky diver 94,500 gpu score

Will post screens and results once im finished. Valley next. So far very good, no issues.

So all three cards aren't running at the same temp?
Did you have to get both your cards running at the same temps before?
Different manufacturers, different temps, this trifire seems to have have brought out a slacker LtMatt!

My other worry with tri-fire, as someone else pointed out earlier, is that then it would be hard going back to anything less and I don't want to have to buy 3 cards every time they release a new generation of card!

Nah, they're not. I've switched them round again too, as I've put the lowest Asic card first as this allows me to undervolt by -0.056v and remain stable at 2d load. Low asic cards have the highest stock voltage, so it kind of makes sense. Top gpu is the hottest, 2 c hotter than gpu 2. Gpu 3 is a good 5-6 cooler than gpu 1 & 2. I'm happy thus far.

Interesting to see how well TRi-Fire 290s clock Matt. What's the weather like in Norwich at the moment? Hopefully there's a cold spell on the way so we can see how far you can push em.

I'll need a new psu before i can do any extreme overclocking. Have about 200-300W to play with over three cards. :p
