It's gone a lot colder the past week and next week is just as cold too here in Norwich. Looks like summer is over boys. :(

At least i can console myself with more fps than my monitor can benefit from though.

Lol, same here. I'm now bound by resolution. And that's just with two cards.
 
I want 1440 g sync, but the Rog swift is pretty expensive. Hopefully see more choice in this res this year. A 3rd card though isn't possible for me though, id need a board like the Maximus VI extreme. Mine only does dual sli due to its slot arrangement.

Two cards is enough at 1600P or lower tbh, but adding a third will allow you to max out everything without compromises. :)

I can vouch for that monitor scotty is selling, it's very nice. I've had a few minor issues with mine though, but i have the older revision. Brick went pop after a year and a half, stand is flimsy (fixed in the new version) and just recently my dual dvi slot appears to have died. Aside from that, the picture and colour quality is superb.

I tried running thief @1080p with Mantle using 2 and 3 cards but there is no change I am still CPU bottlenecked, the best I did was about 138fps.

It was not all wasted time though, I thought I would bring on the sub and get the 4th card into play @4K and managed this.

Nice going Kaap. My card should be here within the next hour or two and i will see what i can produce @5ghz. If i can get things stable then i will ramp up to 5.3-5.4ghz and see if i can beat some scores.
 
Well my display port cable arrived and i can confirm my monitor works using that. That's a relief. I was worried that port might have been taken out when the Dual DVI died.

Just waiting on the 290 now. Come on Royal Mail...
