To unlock new classes its a bit of a grind, its a lot better than it was a week ago mind!

Just unlocked the juggernaut class so much fun firing a fusion mortar in a room and watching it rip people to shreds

You can buy the cheapest gold in beta for around £7 and that will give you lifetime vip status, better than paying out £20 the gold gets you are 2 classes to unlock as well.

Heh had such a feeling of deja vu watching the trailer for this, its so like a mod I made for quake 3 8-9 years ago: http://aten-hosted.com/images/q3trmod1.jpg even the weapon models (not seen in this screenshot), vehicles and so on were very similiar in style. (granted the mod was heavily influenced by tribes 1).

Quite a few nice updates notably the raiders smg damage got reduced which is much needed! a lot with a few spinfuser buffs this should be nice.

Spinfuser doesn't need buffs tbh. Getting pretty easy kills with it at the moment. For a beta though this is pretty solid and apart from a few UI tweaks and some balancing there isn't really anything you'd need to change to fully release this.

One thing i would like to see is generators playing much more of a role like in previous tribes games, but definitely agreed for a beta this is very well polished just need a few ui tweaks mainly to show what various class packs do etc.
