Yup, they are. I'm still waiting for PROPER graphics settings, personally. Currently I have everything maxed out but I want settings for the sake of getting a bit more performance out of my setup.

Also, has anyone else got some really terrible texture pop in issues? Every single time I spawn the texture seems to pop in on my weapons. The spinfusor doesn't seem to finish and looks blurry (the other weapons are fine). Also, if I look down at myself, the textures don't pop in at all. It's quite annoying and makes the game look really ugly.
 
It is quite an interesting game I gotta say. The combat is all about:
leading shots
momentum and
velocity (the speed of something in a given direction).

Kind of reminds of Enders Game to be honest lol and I quite like it.
 
Kinda put off by the fact that it's got a cash shop system.

I don't expect a cash shop system for any game you actually pay for, F2P is acceptable though.
 
While it is f2p anything in game currently can be eared through playing, so long as this doesn't turn into a pay to win game its good in my books.

Although saying that i paid for the lowest amount of gold to get vip status which was only about £5 and gives a few classes. Atm its currently my go to game when i have nothing to do, such a fantastic game i cant get enough sking and jetpacking action.
 
Wait, is this game a F2P or do you have to buy it? I saw it was "Pre-order" on the website, and assumed you had to buy it?

Its f2p, but you can advance yourself by buying gold to unlock classes earlier or buying boosters. Everything can be unlocked through normal play.

Atm its in closed beta but you can get in with a key which you can get from liking thier fb page or asking kindly on these forums, i get a couple each week for being vip.
 
VIP gives u faster exp :P
its basicly the LoL f2p system with tribes
a pretty good game tho, UT engine, i like a fast shooter
get ur beta acc's while u can its going to be popular^^

Just had a blast on the beta for 30 minutes, the game is bloody amazing. Once you get the hang of skiing down hills and jumping etc it really takes shape. I hope this game is successful and hangs around for a while.
 
Am playing this myself, brilliant game to just jump in for a round! Am mostly rubbish, but had some cracking games, need a new mouse :( Not nice having your mouse batteries run out mid-ski when you have half the opposing team breathing down your neck haha.

If anyone wants to friend me? Not sure how the system works, but my name is TehBluebear on that also :D
 
Its similar to the game Section 8 if you've played that, but yeah think Halo with huge open maps and jetpacks and you won't be miles off.

The game is great, been playing it a lot and taking a bit of a hiatus from it as I've played it too much.
