After I left I cam back on later and had a few games with Jim who also seems to know what he is doing :D After practising some of the routes you showed me I managed to get a 280kph grab in which I was rather proud of.

Think I'm going to start exploring the raider class today :)

Well thats a big improvement. What map were u on? Yea Jim knows his stuff.

Are you allowed spectators in pubs?

Think you mean pugs (pubs = normal public servers that we were in last night. Pugs = pick up games that start on mumble where captains pick players. Pugs are 7v7 competition rules and higher level players.) But to answer your question yes you can spectate pugs you just need to be in mumble so you know which server the match is in and password to be able to join. The servers will be in the custom server list in game.

Yea when you join a server you get the option to spectate when picking a team. Kiwi was spectating in a pub last night so thought he meant pugs. ..........

Interesting Crossfire back to front route, 260 grab if done right.

I find the last hill with the nitron very awkward, had some troubles when I tried it. :p

Think it was on temple ruins via the right route you showed me. Finding Arx Novena quite hard at the moment. Can't seem to nail a route yet.

My favs at the moment are Drydock, Crossfire and Tartarus.

Just need to practice I think. For along time I would grab at 270-290 Max and couldn't break the 300kph mark on even fast open maps but now I can pretty much grab every map at 300+. Only thing that's changed is I know the maps more and I've practiced.

Nice to see guys figuring out back to fronts on crossfire now rock routes are nerfed. Its abit exposed while ur up high near there base but still nice route. Last nitron looks difficult but maybe with practice its possible to master. Will have to try later.

What time u guys on? We going to use the spinfusor mumble tonight?

I'm still not happy about the removal of rock routes, hopefully HiRez will tweak them to make some rocks viable again, they did mention that tweaking is possible in future patches.

I agree the Crossfire B2F is exposed, but pretty much every route is on that map is, at least with this one you are only exposed behind the base, no doubt people won't be looking or expecting this route due to it being so new atm

Even if you grab at 100 health, you'll be going more than fast enough to be able to punt half way across the map. :p

I'll be on in a few, Spinfusor mumble probably best bet due to being able to see status of PUG/Pickup games going on etc.

Really difficult for me to play atm. My comp keeps crashing because the CPU is getting so hot (over 65C) whilst playing. It's idling at around 50C when it used to idle between 35C-40C. It just started getting insane temps all of a sudden the last couple months for seemingly no reason and i have no idea why :/. I've reapplied the thermal paste twice, made sure the sink is seated properly. I just don't understand the sudden high temps. Even on the menu screen it works its way up to 60C in a couple minutes. Reckon the CPU is borked? or mobo?

65°C shouldn't cause freezing, check Intels website for temperature recommendations.

Your running it at stock? Its not pumping some silly voltage through it?

Yeh, it's at stock.

Temp recommendation for this chip is 62C. Mine's going up to 67-69 quickly whilst playing tribes. The comp then restarts obviously to protect the chip, I could prevent that but it shouldn't be running that hot anyway and to do so would likely damage it :s

I don't know if part of the problem lies somewhere with Tribes. I've run the Heaven DX11 bench and even that only gets the CPU up to 59C, yet being on the title menu of Tribes sees it rise to 60C?!

Anyone here play infiltrator? Unlocked it but kind of regret it now, default weapons are terrible and spend my team just throwing grenades, getting 1 or 2 kills then instantly dying.

Just playing pathfinder and sentinel at the moment. Is the hip fire sniper rifle worth it?

You need to run some stability tests such as Prime 95 and Furmark. When you say freezing, are you refering to BSOD or your game freezing? If it's the latter then it probably your graphics cards and it's likly due to warm weather. Perhaps play with the fan profiles/take the side case off to get more airflow?

Not played inf but i think you pretty much need jackal to make a difference but really it wont help your gaming learning the role.

As for the phase rifle i think its definatly worth it now the normal rifle has been nerfed but to get the most out of it you need to run the energy pack aswell.

@guys who were in pug. GG's we did well and all got picked for the same team which was cool. Also Kiwi did it help at all seeing how the different classes fill there roles in that size team? Any idea where the VOD on reddit of the matches are?

Some very enjoyable matches not only PUG but PUB play too, I'd love to see Kiwi's point of view on the flag pass on Temple Ruins, was pretty awesome. :p

VODs are being uploaded i think, also another Tribe Council is taking place.. will have to watch the VOD of that too.

Well played to all, shame Deific couldn't join the party.
