** TRIO OF WEEKEND BLOODY SILLY PRICES!! **

I was waiting for next month to decide, and was all set for the EVGA Hybrid. But for £150 less, this looks amazing. It even comes with a backplate and 5 year warranty which is fantastic!

No brainer really. Sure it's not going to be as quiet as the Hybrid, but hey, I'd sooner the extra £150 in my back pocket, and stick some cotton buds in me ear'ole!

This is a good price, finding it hard to resist, all things point to 980Ti and Fury X being equal. The only thing truly holding me off purchasing a 980Ti was the fact that only reference versions have been available recently. While the stock 980 fan is good I find it is a bit loud for my liking and all reviews show reference 980Ti is even louder.

Will order one of these and if it is in for 23rd I will be happy, if not I can always cancel.

I have being playing today, but I either have a driver issue or the rig I was using had NVIDIA sabotage going on as the performance was not as per expectation, should have being quicker.

Now got the Fury home with me and shall play with it over weekend comparing to my 290X and 980Ti G1. But from the press pack I have the Fury X is a 980Ti competitor, not a beater and not a loser.

Its whats been needed really some competition.

I have read the current AMD drivers are not very good for the Fury. Really they need to follow nvidia's lead and actually publicise really well a driver thats intended for the Fury release. Will we see it ?

Yep, was.

I already posted the review on the first page of this thread.

Right, gotcha

Well, everything points to them trading blows and the FuryX being £600 on launch, so at £500 these are a steal, and if gibbo is wrong you can have him under the unfair trading regulations and he has to collect the cards at his cost
