** TRIO OF WEEKEND BLOODY SILLY PRICES!! **

Bloody hell. Great price on the Zotac 980Ti!

Question for anyone that knows - does this card have a different pcb to reference design cards? ie. could I add the evga AIO hybrid cooler to it later on if I wanted, or not?

Sorry to quote myself but it's make or break to me if I ordered this particular one or not for future SLI possibilities. Anyone??

Right, gotcha

Well, everything points to them trading blows and the FuryX being £600 on launch, so at £500 these are a steal, and if gibbo is wrong you can have him under the unfair trading regulations and he has to collect the cards at his cost

You can't have me for single thing mate and yes it is a great deal. :)

I would laugh at you and the guy in court, because nowhere did I state they perform equal. What I said is the press pack shows them trading blows, being equal, those results have also being posted in this very forum which also show them trading blows with like 1-3fps apart and those results are from the press pack.

My own statement is I am having trouble with my testing and as such cannot really comment yet. :)

So as I've not actually said anything factual and are referring to results already online, I cannot be held accountable for anything. :)

True fact is Fury will be hugely short so prices will be very high, unless within the next few days AMD product a whole load more and also decide to change their MSRP on the product. Again this is not me saying this, all information already published by AMD.

So as to what I can be had for, well nothing. :)

Shame its a noisy 980 Ti otherwise I would have bought this instantly but cannot handle noisy GPUS will wait for the MSI 980 Ti as I trust them to be virtually silent.

Well I lasted all of 10 minutes before I caved in and ordered one. I wanted to wait for the prices to come down a little for the Ti's but I doubt they will ever be as low as this before Pascal comes out. Now the waiting begins :)

Can you make it an even better deal and explain why I'm being charged £10.80 for a 2 day service on an 'DPD Two Day Parcel - Eire & Scottish Islands (Mon-Fri) £10.80' set up when I qualify for free DPD next day?

Because you are from Scotland and nobody likes you :P

ask in customer service section :)

I think this is the new price when fury hits.

I don't think nvidia is scared to price its products over the amd tier equivalent and they still sell well.

Truth be told this offer is an especially well-pitched one as it puts a ti plus rog swift at 1100 sheets. The fury plus benq equivalent will be 1050 sheets in a month when stock flows. The fury is liquid cooled and with 4gb. Versus a ti at 50 more with fan cooling and 6gb. I don't believe the fury will be significantly better than the ti. A few frames in it at best.

It's really good to see a bit of competition

You're making statements in a marketing capacity for the company you work for. If they aren't true it doesn't matter where they came from or if you say they are just "your opinion". Your making them, if they aren't true they could be construed as misleading someone to make a purchase they otherwise wouldn't have.

It would never get to court because I already know my credit card company would refund me straight away having used this new as of October 2014 update twice already, once for £2850.

Anyway, I have no intention of returning my two, just saying to anyone on the fence between a £500 980ti and a £600 (you say) furyx to go ahead and order the 980ti because they can probably return the 980ti as the furyx details should be out before they even take delivery

I was actually trying to help you talk someone in to taking up your sales offer

Sorry buddy but absolutely zero idea, no idea on how the forum free shipping works or how it is calculated.

AMD already announced Fury X details, there are also benchmarks already out there. :)

I am confident Fury X will be around £500 area sometime in July/August, but launch pricing will be higher and prices will remain high whilst supply is less than demand, just like any other product. :)

wow this thread got crazy fast
hope ur joking about the court stuff andy thats nuts
personally i love some of the stuff gibbo says^^;

I never mentioned court, that was gibbo :D
I always use credit card as they've never not just refunded me when I put a claim in ;)

I have absolutely no reason to doubt you. Make mine a double :D

Yeah we could just become like other resellers, never show any previews, never review products or do the crazy overclocking stuff that myself and 8 Pack does.

We could just be good, we just aim to be fantastic and set ourself apart from the rest.

OcUK has a solid reputation for giving solid and honest advice/guidance.

What Andy forgets is I am selling and promoting both NVIDIA and AMD.

In fact I'd rather sell more Fury at launch because we will make absolutely great profits on those due to lack of supply, whereas this 980Ti loses us money, doing it for marketing reasons. :)

OcUK is no.1 in Northern Europe/UK for Titan X sales, why? Because OcUK was the first to go sub £800 on a Titan X, that promotion was insane, we sold nearly 200pc on a Titan X in a weekend.

I am now repeating that kind of promotion by being first to market with a 980Ti at sub £500 and I'd be doing this deal still even if no Fury was due next week because I need to ensure OcUK makes this move first and gets all the noise for it.

Your always remembered for being first, never second! :)

Three things must you know about Gibbo. First and foremost, he is a salesman. Secondly, I believe him to be honest. Thirdly, he wants to help out his customers (but be aware! salesman!) even when he's not allowed to do so.

I think he's trying to give out a bit of information in a light hearted way, sell a few products and also give some hints out about the Fury. Take it or leave it, but I wouldn't take it too seriously. My opinion, anyway :)

Yep second is last when it comes to retail! :p

Thinking on it though?? That means if you losing £3 quid now, it also tells of a £96 profit margin beforehand?? Not bad if you can hit that 16% gprofit margin for tech.

Not as good a fruit and veg mind you at 33% profit! ;)

On topic :

Fury is as I have said before a bit faster than the Ti, not in all games but in most. So its swings and roundabouts.

4Gb might put a few off but I aint going 4k anytime soon so, just see what happens! ;)
