Are you always this sharp or just in this thread? :D
It's just that English is my mother tongue so errors leap out of the page at me and slap me in the face ;)
I just can't help it in the context of this thread.

You see, all the 'can't be arsed' people will say that they are dyslexic or that the language is evolving or ....... which ever smart arse excuse they might think of.

I am considered a grammar/spelling Nazi because I point out the glaring problems, yet I'm not perfect and anyone can do a typo/make a mistake; that's not the problem, it is all the people who really don't know the difference between their, there they're, of/have etc and yet blame some other reason/person instead of admitting that they were in the wrong.

'Get a life', you might say ......... get a friggin' education in the language of this nation, I would say.

I really don't have a problem with genuine mistakes, typos, dyslexics etc ..... I have a problem with ****s who can't be arsed and think that they can make up some sort of semi-credible excuse and then pick out the smallest error in their critic's post.

Just a little effort, is all it takes ..... surely, it's not too much to ask?

I get tired of poor excuses for grammar and spelling that I constantly see all around the internet. I'm really not that fussed if English happens to be their second language, but for most of the people I'm seeing posts by its their first and there is no excuse for it at all.

What annoys me the most is when people insist on using txt *** on a forum. In chat boxes, chat rooms and IRC it is just about acceptable because of the time critical nature of replies. On forums there really is no need for it. There are a number of threads that get posted here I've started to read and given up after the first sentence due to the amount of effort involved in deciphering the text when there is no real justification for it.

Trolling takes on many forms on OcUK. Generally it's when you say something the OP doesn't want to hear. Apparently when people ask for an opinion, they only want certain opinions. Any others are 'trolling'.

Who cares about spelling. Some of you rejects use it to devalue someones opinion in the eyes of others, then nip off without answering it. Phwoooaaarrr.

Bang on with a lot of things there.

"I really don't have an answer for you, but sort out your spelling! ROFL ROFL ROFL!!!"

Does my head in.

Although I find the clarity of what a person has written (including the spelling, grammar, etc.) reflects in my head as the age of the person - for some reason all the posts that are text speak I instantly think they are about 12ish - no idea why - even if they make a valid point.

Annoys me when people get pulled up for spelling or grammar unless its really bad, as in unreadable. But to be fair there is no excuse for bad spelling, when Firefox has a built in spell checker.
