when you start getting used to where everything is,
and then they go and move things around![]()
This is so annoying – I don't understand why they do it. Do they think I'll suddenly buy a cumquat because they are now where the cucumbers used to be?
Checkout person: "Would you like help with your packing?"
Me: "No thanks..."
Checkout person: [scanscanscanscanscanscanscanscanscanscanscanscanscanscan!!!]
Me: . o O (Are you scanning the stuff that fast, making it pile up, to make me realise the error of my ways and wish I had asked for help?! Now you're going to sit there and make me feel bad for making you wait for my card now aren't you?!)
I thought it was just me who thought this!
They're definately doing it on purpose. :/
This is the single most annoying thing at the supermarket. It's not a ****ing race.
And to the person who said "it takes four times as long to pack bags for the customer so it's less efficient" how is it helping your efficiency by sitting there doing nothing while I'm packing all of the stuff that's piled up while you went on your little scanning sprint?
Supermarket shopping is the most soul destroying part of my week.
