it's just ridiculous in this day and age that they haven't figured out a way to deliver content simultaneously to multiple countries.

I love it. The second season was really good.

It's totally ridiculous but I think it's really good escapist TV.

Just finished season 1, great show so far. A sign of a good show is always a good intro, and I think True Blood's intro is quite cool.

Excellent show, finished watching s1 & s2, sookie is hott!!! My girlfriend has read all the books so I know what to expect in season 3 although they are doing a lot of things differently in the show than what happens in the books.

But overall its got everything for me, hot ass women, sex

, comedy

, action

Yeah season 2 is better, first few episodes of Season 1 you would think the show was just about the sex but that isn't really the case. Season 2 starts off very well, the story line around Godric is just brilliant. A really interesting character and a shame they didn't go into more depth about him. Thought the last two episodes of the season they lost a bit of steam but on the whole was very good.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but the actors who play sookie and bill are together in real life, think this helps immensely towards the on screen romance/chemistry!

I am reading the books right now , Iam half way thru book 3 so far

Godric was a pedo , he loved to rape then kill children in the books, so I can see
why the show did not elaborate on him.

Are the books worth reading? Do they deviate much from the show? Does the way the characters are portrayed in the books affect your opinion of them in the show? Cheers

The show does deviate from the books , they always do
Tara and sookie aint best of friends , but they do know each other

All in all , I will read the other 6 books , I have enjoyed the first 3 so far

Best example I could think of is her brother Jason , hes portraid as a bit mroe of a comedy character in the show.

Oh......He seemed to cool in the show though, you have ruined my good impression of him

Technically speaking he was suppose to be a child vampire himself but errrm yeah that description doesn't portray him very nicely but they could have changed it though to make him more cool

Like you said in your other post they do change like in the book how they get rid of Maryann (sp?) is different to how they do it on the show. Haven't read the books but remember reading how they get rid of her and thought I had ruined the ending of the season for myself but that wasn't the case.
