I was watching it yesterday and I thought I recognised his face, but couldnt for the life of me remember where from. A quick search on IMDB that he was indeed Vinnie from Home and Away.

What I find amazing is how well Australians do American accents. You would never had known that he was Australian.
 
Was interested to note his being an Aussie - I'd have never picked up on it without checking IMDb (didn't watch H&A) ...

Not to spoil anything but the storyline with the dog just got a bit clearer ... I kinda figured it might have been that - a good plot twist :)
 
Nearly finished season 2 of this, just the last episode to go. It is brilliant. I enjoyed Season 1 but 2 has just been great. Some great laugh out loud moments with Jason (Vinny from Home and Away as above) and a lot more with involved with vampires.

Finshed seasons 1 & 2 now... I didn't like the Mynar storyline overly much but it was awesome nonetheless. I would love to see more on Godrick... the things you could do with the life story of an all-powerful 2000 year old vampires... he could have a film to himself. My second favourite character afer the awesome Jason, praised be his name. :D

I thought the Vampire Queen of Texas was absolutely ****** ridiculous though... how was she made queen? I was expecting an ancient vampire, older than Godrick, terrible and beautiful, who only spoke when she had something awesome to say. Instead she's an idiot, non-sensical, and flippant to the point of idiocy. BIG dissappointment.

Vampire Queen of Louisiana actually ;) Godric is the oldest vampire in North America and he chose not to be King of any area, I'm guessing the position you get is down to how powerful and old you are. I think that she is older than Eric but I'm not sure. Was a bit disappointed by her though, she seemed to speak like a normal person whereas the other vampires seem to have accents and speak a bit differently. She did seem annoying but I think she is suppose to be quite flamboyant in the books but don't think she came across very well in the show.
 
godric is a child rapist/killer in the books that is racked with guild and kills himself.


guess they didnt have the balls to make him a pedo in the series lol , hes suposed to be very young in the books though under 18 when he was turned

I'm a little behind with this, but just recently saw the last episode of Season 1 and all I can say is OMG. I was glued to the seat and and was really shocked by what Bill tried to do. He's such a bad ass, I don't think there's anything he wouldn't do for Sookie. To be honest I felt like she was a bit of a bitch giving him grief about not being honest with her only two weeks after he'd done that for her.
