That is odd.

I paid by debit card and had to do the Verified by Visa thing.
The fraud email they sent mentions Paypal though, which is odd as I didn't use Paypal.

Anyway, I've been sent my key as of two minutes ago, so I'm happy. Can't expect them to work 24/7, but I was worried I'd have to wait until Monday.
 
Was just about to buy Arma 3 from Cjs when my mate bought it first, he got an email asking for all kinds of details, and pictures of id with paper saying cjs? wtf is that about when it's paypal verified? Anyone else had this? Not sure whether to try them now.

I had to do a phone security check AND a separate ID check, when paying with a secured by visa debit card. It took 8 hours from the time I sent in my ID to the time I received my key.

That's actually ridiculous, my mate complained and started a dispute with paypal, they actually forgot the ID and just gave him a key. Always use paypal for keys, if you have a need to dispute it's usually sorted very quickly as it stops them taking payments.
 
I wouldn't touch CJS with a barge pole. Kinguin has always been good, and very quick.

As far as that site, gameholds ^ Reddit had mixed views on it, some were OK and some not. Just be wary of the obvious fake testimonials.
 
just used G2play.net to get Planetary Annihilation nearly a fiver cheaper than steam all fine

Also Cdkeys.com for F1 2013 for a bargain £7.35 needed to do text security code but that worked fine as well
 
Have you all used paypal to get keys, or has anyone in this thread used debit/credit cards to make purchases? I'm interested in getting Reaper of Souls, they've got it for just under £17.

Do you not use paypal?
My Paypal Balance has been empty for as long as I can remember but I still buy keys using paypal.....that way you dont need to imput card details on any other site.

No, never needed to use it for anything really. Always bought stuff online from places that had card paying facilities
 
CJS, twice. Once for BF4 Premium and once for Titanfall. Both times fine, quick key delivery and no problems. Not keen on giving them my mobile number for "security" but there we go...

Has anyone on here used a debit card with CDKeyhouse? They seem to have the most positive reviews on here.
 
Just tried to purchase Wolfenstein from cdkeys.com, getting nowhere fast.

Paid using a verified PP account, confirmed via SMS also and then the order went to agent referral. They've just mailed now asking for a copy of my driver's license.

Which, they're not getting. Have asked for a refund and I'll try elsewhere.

Not often I get the afternoon to myself and I've spent most of it trying to sort this out. :(

edit - CJs worked well, had to verify by SMS but arrived almost instantly once that was sorted.

just used G2play to get Dynasty Warriors 8 for a good price. Ive also used CDDiski in the past. Russian site but can be very cheap, ordered a few things from there and never had problems.
 
Well, add another bad experience with CDJ for me.
Purchased Wolfenstein, but the CD key is in use. I now have to jump through hoops and contact Steam and Bethesda. Only once I've done that, then will CDJ go back to their suppliers and try to help. What crap. Never again.
