Trusted CD Key Sites.

I googled for cd-key sites and came across this.

I landed at www.pureg33k.com by a random FB advert and tried them, seeing they are new and family run?!?!

Got my key within 20 mins, although they state 24 hours max turn around.

Might bookmark it, I even got 10% off from liking on FB Wolfenstien £25.00 for steam for £22.50! BOOM!

Wordy, debit card everytime, and only on Kinguin. I find Paypal confusing as, with all the details and transactions it needs to get going.

Went onto Kinguin and ordered ROS over the weekend, picked the cheapest key and got it less than a minute after placing my order. Ordered by debit card and was pleased to see they use the RBS secure payment process thing.

Thanks for the recomendation Digitalx :)

I pre-ordered Wildstar from CJs Keys - it said beta and headstart access when I bought it, and today the website has removed all mention of headstart access. At least I saved £9 I suppose :\

Well, add another bad experience with CDJ for me.
Purchased Wolfenstein, but the CD key is in use. I now have to jump through hoops and contact Steam and Bethesda. Only once I've done that, then will CDJ go back to their suppliers and try to help. What crap. Never again.

Thought I would give an update on this.

CJS told me that I would have to provide them with correspondence from Steam showing the time, date and country the code was registered before they'd even attempt to look into it.
Now, I'd be seriously surprised if they didn't already know that Steam won't give out all of that information. The most I could get out of them was the date registered; a full 3 days before I purchased my key.
They also tried to close my ticket saying 'they assume its been resolved as I've not updated the ticket', which is funny because the last update was actually by them saying that they would sort it out ASAP.

It's now been 6 full days and I STILL haven't been given a valid key.

This is really serious...All these things should REALLY be told and noted by our community as a word of warning. I, for one, will never buy from them ever after reading these. We live in Internet-forum times, guys. Lets make the most of it!
I do hope you get things solved, though:)

If I may. I'd like to add my thoughts briefly. In a digital world, it will be hard for cjs to prove you did not use key and then try ask for a refund. I am not stating you did that, but I guess from cjs point of view, it proves difficult to clear from people frauding by buying a key, using it and then trying for a refund by stating key did not work etc.
I don't think they can test it as it will be used or if not, if they test it it will be used by them which would also be a loss.

Thought I state the above, I do not agree with their policy with way they are treating you. Just thought I post another view on it.

Thank you for your time.

I can understand where you're coming from, but it's actually pretty easy to prove and I've already done so.

I raised a support ticket on Steam and they were able to give the date that my serial was registered. It was registered a few days before I actually bought it.
Yes, I could easily fake the screenshot, but there is nothing stopping them from opening their own support ticket on Steam.

My issue isn't so much that I had to prove the key was already used (I realise that small businesses like this can't afford to take the small % of loss that comes from scammers/idiots), my issue is that it's been DAYS since I provided them with the proof they requested and they still haven't set things right.

Oh right, I see.

Well, I agree the time turn around is bad. Especially when people want instant these days why a lot people buy cd keys to save postage or a trip to shops (plus the savings ).

Sorry you been treated this way, in a selfish way it's helped me learn from when I counter this with my business as.

Hope it works out for you!

I just bought from CJScdkeys and I have no code. I have opened up a ticket, but am seriously ****ed off. I have no idea what the problem is, but I have verified everything and it is still marked as pending..??????? and will not give me the key.

Just ordered Starcraft 2 from Play-SC. Received the key straight away and registered it on my Battle.net account no problem.

We just got SC2 in stock, were also giving away a Starcraft inc brood war battle.net cd key on our Twitter to a random follower!

On a side note, is it true I hear HL3 is coming out? Better dust off my OverClockers pc and upgrade!

Yet another update...

On Sunday morning, it'll be 2 weeks since CJS keys sold me a USED key (registered 3 days before I bought it according to Steam).

I have requested a refund under The Sale of Goods Act 1979 as I find the amount of time I've had to wait for a replacement to be unreasonable.

- They replied back with some nonsense...
- I replied asking direct if they were denying my request for a refund....
- They said no, they're not denying my request and then asked if I had sent in proof and whatnot (even though the proof is already attached to the support ticket)

I actually bought a key from Steam the day after this happened and as I could give a spare key to my bro, I decided to let this go on as I was curious how long it would take to sort out. It's almost been 2 weeks though, so I'm going to request a chargeback from my bank tomorrow and NEVER EVER order from CJS again.
