No but it's the closest guess so far. Really, you all know this tune. So do I, which is why it's doing my box in.
 
Just wondering, is the pitch of your humming about equal to that of the song?

Is it a slow sad song in a low-pitch and or a more upbeat type thing?

Yes. All of those. Sort of. Pretty much as i hummed it. There is a breakaway bit in the middle. Its killing me.
 
No but thanks for trying. Spanish Flea is NOT the song but its that sort of era and style.
 
I have no idea what the tune is and likely the one I am now thinking of isn't even the same one. But the one I'm now thinking of was a TV theme tune :p
