Turkey Grand Prix 2010, Istanbul Park - Race 7/19

Any info on which engine expired for webber?

It's not going to have been a new engine, and he appears to have used each of his previous engines for two races, so is it an ultra high milage engine he's been using for FP sessions or was that an unexpectedly early failure?

Highlights - Turkish Grand Prix first practice

Pussycat doll, and yes he did :)

of course - why would he be seen with common muck like a babe - Doll's are much better :D

What was the issue with Vettel - water pump or something? As suggested I doubt MW's failure is too much to worry about given milage that unit has already done

Looks promising for Button (and LH) - even if Red Bull do have some performance in hand

Also, worryingly for Massa: Alonso is currently lying faster than him. Alonso was also quicker in 1st practise, too. I have to say I am dissapointed with Massa, as I felt that Massa and Alonso together were one of the strongest driver combination on the grid this year (after Button/Hamilton).

Thats because Massas stock rose from driving a great car with a drunk for a team mate. The year Louie won his title would have been much tougher had a top class driver have been in the ferrari. Lewis is a great great driver but massa wasn't a match for him in talent, as Alonso is clearly showing.

You know Alonso is happy to have him as a team mate though because he knows he can beat him with no hands on the steering wheel. Hence why Massa will get signed on again for another year. They will be looking to keep alonso happy and alonso will be happier than a pig in **** with a team mate like the one he has.

Out of six races this season Alonso has beaten Massa in three of them, clearly demonstrating his vast superiority.

The results may show this. However, in every race, Alonso is rampant. Wasn't it the last race where Alonso started at the back of the grid (pit lane) and finished up right behind Massa?

Anyway, if you look at the other races, where Massa headed Alonso, you will see Alonso is much much faster than his team-mate, but is unable to get past a driver in an identical car (which is typical for 2010).

When Alonso is not hampered by his slower team mate, he races off into the distance, leaving Massa for dead.

I actually expected a lot more from Massa this season, but in all honesty, Alonso has mentally finished him off. Massa knows that unless something extraordinary happens (like at Monaco, where Alonso qualifies last), Alonso will beat him in every race.

I dunno, I'll give it until half way into the season and then decide.
With my "Alonso is the king" bias, I'll never think he's better. I do think he is a solid driver though, fully deserving of the Ferrari seat.
It's just how it is being F1 fans, we're all so quick to write everyone off. :D

It not just in F1 that this happens. This happens in virtually every sport. If a sportsman has a few bad games/matches/races then suddenly, he is crap, regardless of what he did before that. I think football is the worst for this way of thinking.
