Was alright but Brundle said he wasn’t comfortable as ‘lead’

We're 3 hours behind Istanbul. The race is starting at the normal time of 13:10.

Enough time to have a lay in, get up to sort breakfast and coffee. Not stupid early like the Japanese gp!

How about 1 time zone for the whole world. So the UK get up for work at 8am. In Istanbul they get up for work at 5am or NY at 1pm. It works for China.

Istanbul is three hours ahead. If the race started at 1pm UK time they likely wouldn't have enough light to complete the race.

I did wonder that, but I thought teams were allowed to change setups between quali and race when it's a wet quali session? Could be wrong.

Weather forecast for Istanbul is dry (7% chance of rain). I'm guessing dry setups all round. Mercedes leading by lap 10?

Really will depend on how quickly they can generate heat in to them. They've struggled due to the good tyre temp management but colder circuits appear to cause some issues.

Mercedes were struggling in the dry during practice too.

ooo big black clouds during the initial Sky feed! Hopefully a bit of changing weather would be fun, esepcially as the merc doesn't appear to be able to heat its tyres up well enough!

Watching the pre-race interviews. Leclerc says "I'm thinking about dries", whilst Vettel "it'll be a wet start". Might be an interesting mix of tyre choices for the start of the race

I miss the days when the race times were always set by local time. It is a World Championship after all. Why does it have to be timed to please European advertisers?
