I expect Hamilton to play tomorrow very safe and be more focused on not getting into trouble on first lap and then keeping Bottas behind.

Why can’t the stewards get these sort of issues resolved during the sessions, rather than hours afterwards?
With all the sensors and data surely it should be possible to check this out at the time when it can impact other teams and drivers.

Since both RP were fast it's more likely down the car than the driver. So one would assume that Vettel would be up there and be as fast also, especially given that he had the beating of Charles in this session.

KMAG didn’t seem too happy about the yellow flags and other drivers not slowing down. He backed off for the whole lap
I think he has a point, given the Director's notes (emphasis mine):
7) Observing yellow flags during free practice and qualifying
7.1 Double waved: Any driver passing through a double waved yellow marshalling sector must reduce speed significantly and be prepared to change direction or stop. In order for the stewards to be satisfied that any such driver has complied with these requirements it must be clear that he has not attempted to set a meaningful lap time, for practical purposes this means the driver should abandon the lap (this does not necessarily mean he has to pit as the track could well be clear the following lap).
7.2 Single waved: Drivers should reduce their speed and be prepared to change direction. It must be clear that a driver has reduced speed and, in order for this to be clear, a driver would be expected to have braked earlier and/or discernibly reduced speed in the relevant marshalling sector.Drivers should not overtake any car in a single waved yellow marshalling sector unless it is clear that a car is slowing with a completely obvious problem, e.g. obvious accident damage or a deflated tyre.

Personally I have no idea who was actually caught by the flags, but Norris has a five place drop for his infringement, and Russell has now been summoned.

More for the Q1 yellow flags: Russell also got a 5 place penalty. Half the field were cleared of any offence.

F1 should just through random variables into f1. It clearly adds entertainment. This sort of weekend begs for random sprinkler events to be added
