Verstappen pit radio - Max, what's the condition of the tyres like? If we come in for a refuel, what's the condition of the tyres like? Do you think you could go out on the same set if we had to?

Verstappen - Yeah, I think so.

Pit - Ok, Copy that. Thank you.

Russell pit radio - Not expecting further rain at the moment.

Hamilton pit radio - So you should be configured for consecutive laps.

Flat spots for Perez on what may have been his race start tyre. Oops.

I take full responsibility for Ricciardo being out in Q1. I thought it was safe to put him back in my fantasy F1 team :(

Well done Lewis. I’m still not convinced starting 11th is the best place for him though. Plenty of opportunity for a turn 1 incident being in the middle of the pack.

Looks like merc have won the development war. As long as Hamilton salvages something from his starting position here, he’s in a good place for the final stint.

Really gonna need Bottas to hold back verstappen but I feel like it’s gonna be a repeat of Sochi lol
He's going to give him the red carpet treatment.

You'd think he'd fight with his all given this could be his last shot at a race win for... well forever, potentially. But I have about as much faith in his ability to defend as I do a chocolate teapot.

Bottas will let Max past the at the first corner and hold Lewis up for second... Hes that salty..

It's poised well if Bottas can get a good start, which isn't a given. Does make me laugh how some people say Lewis is getting old and losing reflexes etc.. yet the start is a huge test of relaxes and co-ordination and Lewis consistently performs better than Bottas. The McLarens aren't really near but the Ferraris usually get a good start. Fortunately for Bottas it is an extremely short run down to the first corner.

The best getting a little worse doesn't make him not very, very good.
