Stopped a few times here because of my directories , being down to Gog.Com. If you have the originals this won't be so difficult.

However if i can install this , anyone can lol

It just takes ages , over an hr of downloading/installing so far

Okay, it is up to about 40% of the green bar on a 17meg connection. Wondering what will go wrong as these things never seem to work first time

find the file called "Setup-TobEx.exe" and start it, it will open the installation window and ask questions, you just answer the questions with the indicated letter or number and push the Enter -button... you probably want to install everything.

Works now

All is good , looks lovely too

How long does the dos style part of the installation take? Wondering whether to go training while it faffs around.

completed BG but didnt complete BG2 way back due to crashes. Had a lot of fun with modded characters though. e.g. an epic fight my Lord Soth character (vader voiceset heh) vs a certain Dragon

Bit lost, installed the simple mod and I don't have the TobExLoader.exe file to start the game up.

Ok reinstalled and out of program files directory , it causes more problems than it's worth !

Ran the big world setup file ,

Clicked on MINIMUM VERSION
Ticked - Do NOT install Foreign-Language Mods
Ticked - Further Customization of your mod settings

Continue x2

Ticked - In the darkest day (TDD) , Region of Terror , The Grey Clan Episode 1 , BG1 NPC Project , BG NPC Project Music Pack , BG1 Unfinished Business , BGT Tweak Pack , NPC Flirt Packs , PC SoundSets Version 2 , BP-BGT WorldMap.

As for the resolutions all i remember doing was changing it via the baldurs gate 2 config file ( bg config ) - Graphics , Display , unlock modes. However i did this before i installed the mods

Well, installed it all again, and still no program file for launching it. Don't know what I've done wrong.

Just loads the original Baldur's Gate. :confused:
