TVs high on walls

I mean it depends how high you mount them. Last I checked my walls started from the floor

Seen some where they are above a mantle peace and I agree it doesn’t look like a comfortable viewing angle.
I’d have to remove my mantle piece before mounting .

But yeah most TV stands are really low compared to the height people mount TVs

If this thread is serious, then consider the height of a TV unit or a coffee table. Let's make that 50cm to 60cm high, and that's where the TV legs start. Unscrew the legs/stand so that you just have the panel. Measure up where the VESA (or whatever) backet is on the rear of the panel and add 50-60cm to it. Move the panel left/right so it's not in the way of anything. Then start drilling :-)

Ideal height is center of TV screen in line or slightly below eyeline when sitting on sofa IMO. Above fireplaces etc I just find wierd, but maybe you get used to it
Yeah I'm total opposite. I need the bottom of TV ti be about eyeline cause I generally laze about on sofa rather than upright sitting position.
