Two Point Hospital

New bug I've found.

When training, the teacher doesn't come to the classroom and the student just gets stuck. Cancelled the course, picked up the student and put him down somewhere. Then get a popup over and over that the training course is complete. Tried starting another course which worked thinking that would clear the bug but nope :(

Ok it seems to go away after a while. It's very annoying though.

i bought it because i was bored. i'm bored of everything tbh

Maybe you're just in one of those phases that some people go through where gaming doesnt hold any interest. Lots of people go through those sorts of phases from time to time, best thing to do is to put the mouse/keyboard/gamepad away for a bit, make the most of the last of the decent weather before crappy autumn/winter weather comes in, do some other hobbies for a while and come back to the gaming in several months time all fresh and renewed. A break from things for a few months works wonders when every game is boring you.

Being able to move an entire room, furniture in-tact is such a great QOL improvement over the original... I love it as I like to try and keep my diagnostic rooms in the first building and the treatment rooms in the wings (feels like it flows better that way)... so picking up my early pan clinic or whatever and moving it to the new building to make space for an extra GPs office or Psychiatry is awesome!

Hotfix Patch Update:

- Fix for crash on start up caused by unrecognised timezone.
- Fix for not being able to exit the end credits screen.
- Fix for save failure caused by ResearchProjectComponent saving invalid data
- Fix for crash caused by room visuals

Thought I’d play for 15 mins lastnight ended up on for 3 hours.

I’m not particularly good though. I’m struggling to get my first hospital to level 6...I’m guessing I need to start the second hospital to unlock more items to put in my first one!

... I'm going to need to check how to do that! I'm sure there are a lot of simple tricks like that which I need to learn! Definitely argee for diagnosis separate to treatment (though psychiatric, ward etc form dual purposes).

Out of interest does anyone know if this is like Theme Hospital, where apparently after every diagnosis that isn't a GP, the patient returns to the GP before getting a treatment? Important knowledge to know!

Please everyone feel free to add me on steam, I'm billy no mates at the moment, since I've only just got a computer actually capable of gaming! Username should be the same.

Anyone got tips for assigning and keeping assigned staff to various rooms? Half the time on the 3rd or 4th map I hover over a room to see that no one has been assigned.... Gander over to the staff room and its a bloomin party in there!

You can change the breakroom policy, I try and get as good a breakroom as I can, and it looks like they recover quickly. I've put it down to 1 person on a break at a time, and 10 days break. They recover quickly enough I think.

Omg, grabbed this off reddit.

"Chairs (available for 20kudosh) in rooms like Pharmacy and General Diagnosis will keep staff in them when they have no queue, stopping them wandering off :)"

https://www.reddit.com/r/twopointhospital/comments/9bs23j/_/

Genius! That'll be getting added immediately. Those little touches are why I think it's probably a good idea to test everything, and actually watch the effects. I've been going nuts with the different poster types, getting all my rooms upto prestige 3.

The chairs! It's so damned good

Just went back to the first hospital and got it to 3 stars with a really nice layout (having just gotten to 1 star on the 3rd one)...

Why no pool table for the staff room though :(

Terrible layout for my 3rd hospital, squashed everything into the first patch of land. Still it's making money, and I've got queues of 5+ waiting for GPs even with 3 GP offices!

I'll maybe fix it later...

The rats are back! Well, monobeasts... you can only shoot them at normal speed (and maybe faster).

I love those things. Only just realised they hide under the reception desk. It is these little touches that make this great.

I've found the same thing with the 3rd hospital, 3 GPs but big queues on them all.

Has anyone had the game crashing to the desktop? 3 hours playtime and 3 crashes so far, so much so I've adjusted the career saves down to monthly.

Great game though, really enjoying it!

I've whittled the hours away playing this already, it's like a throwback to my TH days in the 90s. Sure it's got it's quirks but this is a fantastic game for me. I get completely anal about the small things. Find myself micro-managing each janitors assignments, training etc.

Not a single crash so far.
