Two Point Hospital

I didn't mind it too much. I just hired a boat load of janitors.

I have 25 Janitors on sweaty-P... then this morning a Volcano went off and 5 of my fully upgraded machines exploded whilst multiple janitors wandered around "looking for work" or pointlessly watering plants in the same room as the burning machine. I've been relatively tolerant of the awful AI in the game so far but this one really annoyed the heck outta me

I guess I got lucky, I think I only lost one machine. I just put loads of fire extinguishers everywhere. The AI pathfinding and job finding is pretty terrible though, hence the need for additional staff.

Any tips on increasing staff morale.

I'm on the public hospital and for 3 stars I need 90% morale! Give everyone a pay rise but that only got me to about 75%.

i purchased this game few days after i made a comment, only got to the 3rd hospital, but it is quite good, its a bit strange thinking of it like theme hospital without the comedy.

Give them high prestige rooms to work and rest in, give them longer breaks, train them up so they cure more patients, make sure there are enough places to get food and use the toilet so they're not hungry, thirsty, or in need of a wee.

On the last hospital now. Will stop playing and move to the new AC game. Just waiting on the number of cures which is pretty boring. Has been a good run though. Needs some DLC now.

Given up trying to get 3 stars on that hospital, increased wages far too high, absolutely bleeding money.

Then you have missed something. Look at their needs - maybe they need drinking fountains or food placing around the hospital. Wage is just a small part.

Max out their wage slider when it comes to promotions. You should get a green smiley face. You should have a brick ton of money if you're close to 3 stars anyway.

Having finished Cucumberbatch, I'm continuing playing it on the side in order to get the remaining career achievements, which are quite tiring ie Have cured 1k of Mummification patients etc. As a result I've gone nuts on marketing to get more patients in and expanded the place since 3 starring it.

Annual wages are 4.1million :o
51x Doctors
31x Nurses
21x Assistants
14x Janitors

I'm just about to 1-star Rotting Hill, the first of the final area I've attempted (have 3-starred all of the previous levels already)...

Not sure how I feel about this level though (depends what the 2 and 3 star objectives are I guess)... the building layouts are quite nice to work with but are annoyingly spaced out. Otherwise the level seems pretty easy...

For all those people who wanted sandbox mode, just read they are adding it next week. :)

Yeah just saw this - awesome stuff!

I see they're also making all dual purpose treatment/diagnosis rooms have an option to restrict them to only one or the other... It'll allow for some interesting options I suppose but personally I feel that it kind of defeats the whole point of those rooms being dual purpose - it's supposed to be slightly more awkward/challenging to design the hospital around them... It feels like the devs have pandered to the vocal complainers on the subreddit a bit too hard on that one...

It's absolute madness! You've got to start off researching everything all over again so my hospital is like a morgue, and my usual tricks for money aren't working. I'm hovering at an unstable $80-100k of cash at the moment with my existing 2 plots/wards open.

Meh, not the game for me. Loved Theme Hospital, but I seem to be spending a lot of time adding random junk to rooms and corridors, slinging staff pretty much at random in to training courses, and trying to inch forward building the hospital, but end up needing every other new room to be a duplicate of one/s I already have, especially GPs offices and psychiatry. Chasing stars and grinding that K currency for new tat is also annoying. Only made it to the 4th hospital and met the 1star criteria to move on, but I think I've seen enough.

Found the last level quite easy, spam build quickly as there are so many patients arriving once you have at least one of each treatment room the cash keeps coming in. Regular gameplay with a steady stream of patients it all flows nicely, even emergencies can be handled with enough rooms, but as soon as you launch a marketing campaign for a specific condition all hell breaks loose as 100 patients all want treatment at the same time. Got 2 buildings filled with operating theatres and it's nowhere near enough to handle a 3 month campaign, never mind anything longer.
